An Italian F3 Champion and a race winner in F2, Stohr was involved in one of the most horrific accidents F1 has ever seen. Retiring from motorsport soon thereafter, he has become one of Italy's foremost advanced driving instructors.

1977 • Formula Italia, 1st overall.
• Italian F3, =17th overall, 2 points in a Chevron B38 Toyota.
• European F3, =23rd overall, 2 points in a Chevron B38 Toyota.
1978 • Italian F3, 1st overall, 54 points, at least 1 win in a Trivellato Chevron B38/B43 Toyota.
• European F3 in a Trivellato Chevron B43 Toyota.
• Monaco F3 event, 2nd place in a Trivellato Chevron B43 Toyota.
1979 • Formula 2, 8th overall, 17 points in a Chevron B48 and March 792 BMW.
1980 • Formula 2, 4th overall, 29 points, 1 win in a Docking/Spitzley Toleman TG280 Hart.
Formula One
1981 • Arrows A3 Cosworth V8, 13 entries, 4 DNQs.
