Hello,

I'm looking for someone on F1rejects who has worked with Formula 1 teams, especially in the mid-90s. I vaguely remember reading here once about a mechanic of Pacific Grand Prix or something; does anybody know who I'm talking about? Or does anyone know anyone who was involved in F1 1994?

Faustus has worked for both Arrows and Super Aguri but I have no idea where he's disappeared to in recent weeks.

It'd be a shame if he has left this forum because I did enjoy his comments, both for what he revealed about his work behind the scenes and for his modesty.

Anyway, mediocre, do you mind if I ask why you are looking for former F1 employees, and especially from around 1994 - are you by chance connected with the CTDP modding team and working on their 1994 mod? I ask because one of their modding team, I believe, uses the same user name, and I was wondering whether that was by chance or not...

That's exactly the reason.

We're looking to get some people who know a bit or two to get a more "realistic" feedback.

On another note: For the same reason I've chatted yesterday with no other person than the legendary Jean-Denis Deletraz, who gave me some pictures from his private collection.

My dad worked in IndyCar with Mimmo Sciatterella and I think did a bit of f1 with arrows and simtek...........

Thank you for the very kind words, but I am hardly that! The commitment of some of the people here far outweighs anything that I've ever contributed to this forum.
I am still alive but I have been ridiculous busy lately, courtesy of a new job and some family circumstances.
I got your e-mail mediocre and I am sorry that I haven't replied to you. I do know a few people that were around Formula in 1994, but not many. Most of Arrows by 2002 were ex-TWR in Super Touring and sportscars (especially the mechanics), but a few of them were about and I know some others, including some from Simtek. I'll try to get in touch with them.

Yes it is true. But I like to think that we, in this forum, are from a different mould. That we are thoughtful, tolerant and intelligent human beings. Judging by the most of the fauna that inhibits the Web, it seems that we, as intelligent non frustrated species, are in grave danger of extinction.

Yes, you certainly have a point! But I was meaning a different kind of frustration. In most comments and posts I find elsewhere there is a great deal of big frustration about life that released in insults and mindless reactions from many keyboard warriors... I wanted to mean that we don't have that here, fortunately.

And no, in this I will not include our numerous attempts at humour that befell the forum lately

-That I knew beforehand things would have got out of kilt at this thread too because I can't remember such a bad outbreak of F1 Deprivation Syndrome (F1DS) during my time here (and I've endured all three off-seasons here).
-That I won't let this forum fall into anarchy as a moderator. Neither will mario, I guess.
-That F1 needs to begin right now, even though I find your bickering amusing.
-That I won't let Wizzie surpass my posts tally, even though I can't really compete with a bored pre-teenager with too much time on his hands.
