Let's say I could criticise (good or bad) the texts. It is just that if you want to really go for it, you should be more proactive. People only move if they are impelled to it. So invite them to participate, send them some texts, ask for voice samples and attempted F1 analysis or anything else related to chosen themes (you can do this personally, i.e, by mail). Gather interested parties in Skype, for instance, and talk with them, lead the conversation to interesting themes and let them speak. Record something and then showcase it to see where you are and how to improve. Proactive is the key here, man! Now, go get them! (I would be very interested to listen, of course!)

I am basically the bold parts.

A competition where members of the forum are pitted against one another to come up with the most hilariously stupid/rejectful/nonsensical commentary to an event in one of the Reject World Race Series events past or present. The winner gets...probably nothing, but who knows, someone might think of something.

This is my latest effort - my usefulness in this community effort is up in the air, but if anyone wants me to do it, I'll consider it.
As for above, if you keep watching thorcast.co.uk, there'll be another one on the 15th of February...

There's not masses there - 500MB of space and 15 GB of bandwidth per month. It does me OK - but I'm now down to having only my most recent two shows on there at any one time, rather than three. Still, thorcast.co.uk has an archive of all the others.
I get the idea that if the F1 Rejects podcast was uploaded to Podomatic at the low bitrate it is hosted as even to this day, it would be converted on the site to 128 kb/s and 44 kHz, and would be downloadable and streamable in only that format, but with the original file taking up much less space. Not that the downloadable version would have its sound quality restored, obviously. If, on the other hand, the converted version would end up taking excess space on the server, then there's likely to be a better site out there for that purpose - so I'm not suggesting for a minute that the F1 Rejects podcast should be hosted there. I think there's plenty of space here yet... isn't there?

Well, you shouldn't have to... but, if you're looking for a free option, they may be some better than Podomatic. That said, if your podcasts are going to be at as low a bitrate as the official F1 Rejects podcasts are, there should be space for quite a few before it runs out.
My archive is hosted on 4shared, where I get 10 GB of space for nowt. Only thing is, I have to make sure I've logged in at least once every 28 days, or the whole lot vanishes.

I tried but I ended up being cut from the end product
Seriously though we should make an F1RWRS half-time podcast and see how long before you, me and the elephant in the room that is TMLW start going for each other's jugulars. And possibly some bragging about how the series is in a better state than the WRC

Are you suggesting some sort of Alitalia vs F1RWRS Commission showdown live on air? I don't think that will be broadcastable considering the level of swearing involved

The problem is, after listening to that back AFTER posting, I realised I used a couple of expletives in there without beeping them out![]()
Sorry everyone, national genitals and all that
And me doing a podcast on my own? That would just be boring. Plus it needs more cultural diversity anyway

I think the overplanning of the first community podcast was our downfall because we thought THATS what we had to do. Seriously people, there was a script and everything.
