The word is Sir Frank is trying to pull out all the stock to try and stop the team falling to even more unbelievable depths as for the second year in a row they have been simply abysmal. To make matters worse Nico Rosberg has simply had enough with the team and is expected to leave at the end of the season. Test driver Heikki Kovalainen is rumoured to be in the second seat as soon as the next race in Great Britain to replace Kazuki Nakajima. This comes on the back of rumours that Toyota could be leaving the sport at the end of the year after their disappointing run since Jarno Trulli scored the team's first and so far only win at Bahrain in 2005.
Round 7: Turkey
Qualifying:
There was a glimmer of hope for the Brawn team as for the first time all year both cars were within a second of the pole time set by Daniel Melrose as the Juggernaut arrived at Istanbul. The composition of the grid was fairly consistent with the form guide for this year although Jarno Trulli put in his best qualifying performance of the year to be 7th ahead of Sammy Jones and Kimi Raikkonen while Thomas De Bock answered the critics by outqualifying teammate Sebastian Buemi for the first time all season.
Grid:
1. D. Melrose (BMW)
2. J. Button (Brawn-Mercedes)
3. F. Zimmer (Brawn-Mercedes)
4. S. Vettel (RBR-Renault)
5. M. Webber (RBR-Renault)
6. L. Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes)
7. J. Trulli (Toyota)
8. S. Jones (McLaren-Mercedes)
9. K. Raikkonen (Ferrari)
10. F. Alonso (Renault)
11. T. Glock (Toyota)
12. N. Rosberg (Williams-Toyota)
13. K. Nakajima (Williams-Toyota)
14. R. Kubica (BMW)
15. N. Piquet Jr (Renault)
16. T. De Bock (STR-Ferrari)
17. A. Sutil (Force India-Mercedes)
18. S. Buemi (STR-Ferrari)
19. P. McAllister (Force India-Mercedes)
20. L. Badoer (Ferrari)
21. C. Klien (USF1-Cosworth)
22. S. Speed (USF1-Cosworth)

Only good thing is that Bunsen Jetton is 'only' 20 points away. Maybe he could overhaul Melrose? Hopefully...
