Quite simply, we weren´t fast enough, but we have some relief as our main rivals for the title didn´t do that well. It´s not I´m writing off Foxdale, they have the fastest car, but they have to stop hosting those barbecue parties at their cars if they want to beat us.

That´s because you farted in your seat, then no pay driver want to seat there!

We have refused Shizuka's request to be replaced by a pay driver as he is doing a great job and although the credits a pay driver would bring would be good, we would prefer to have great drivers rather then mediocre ones.

My drive was not so good but I had had set up issues all practice. After the race we will be in court for Day 2 of the trail of Lon Vs Kamaha as the F1RWRSC have repatedly ignored requests to handle the case internally.
Tony Gillet wrote:What can we say? The car wasn't good at all during qualifying, and we scored our worst quali results all year with 17th and 18th. Thomas and Aurelien were simply unable to heat the tyres properly, and that will probably cost the team dearly during the race, especially since we need more championship points in the fight against Dagnall. What? No we won't hire pay drivers! That's preposterous! Thomas and Aurelien are doing a brilliant job, and a pay driver would be too much of an unknown quantity. He could turn out to be like Ben Fleet, but he could also turn out to be like Vidal Reyna-Sanchez.

Sammy Jones wrote:Wow what a superb win! A great result for the team after what's been a bit of a barren patch recently, it's really allowed us to get a comfortable cushion in 4th in the Constructors Championship, though I feel that the Drivers' title is probably out of reach for both myself and Kay at the moment. Spekaing of Kay, I'm gutted for him to have fallen at the last hurdle, a double podium would have been excellent, and he only just missed out on being classified in the points. Still, the 10 for the win will go a long way to myself and the team's championship, and it only serves to reinforce the fact that our car is fundamentally one of the best in the field. Naturally it has some reliability issues, but then almost every team on the grid is struggling one weekend or another so that's to be expected. Obviously today I was able to take advantage of some of that unreliability in others, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is another win and another great chapter in the Jones Racing story.
I'm also in a position to confirm that Castrol Jones Racing is in negotiations with a number of large companies with a view to securing a secondary major sponsorship deal for the upcoming 2014 season and beyond. In due course an announcement will be made when a deal is concluded.

Jones knows he only won as his car did not break down not because it is one of the best cars in the field as he puts it. I am sure that the F1RWRSC will look at the large number of failures due to gearboxes and make plans to fix this.

No, I do not feel betrayed by The Fox despite signing for three at the beginning of this season with a common project to make ArrowTech a frontrunner in mind. If he feels this is the right move for the team in order to reach this goal, then I trust him since he is in the best position to know what is best. What is relevant now is to prepare for next season and work on next year's car with the rest of the team.
