What IS Deletraz Doing???

I've just been browsing The reject youtube thread & came across the classic Deletraz moment

Perhaps we can all speulate what exact IS Deletraz doing?

I am going to state the obvious...that he's had a drop too many when making an unschedule pitstop at Octoberfest.

After careful freeze frame analysis I have come up with the following possibilities...

1. Deletraz was in fact lapping the circuit so quickly that the human eye and indeed the TV camara's could not comprehend Deletraz's speed. The hipotiesing (apologies for the poor spelling) effect of Deletraz speed fooled our brain into thinking that Deletraz was weaving the car on the circuit.

2. Deletraz & Murray Walker had been plotting together to create that moment. Therefore becoming superrich of the royalities.

Prolly not too far off the actual truth! I'm reminded of Richard Hammond continually spinning the F1 Renault cos he was so slow he couldn't ever get any heat in the tyres. Either that or cramp - Deletraz never looked quite the picture of fitness.

Good point. Although I was suprised Richard Hammond's legs were long enough to reach the pedals in the first place.

I am willing to bet good money that the team were actually controlling Deletraz's car remotely from the pits, after his swiss francs turned out to be monolopy money.

I cry when reminded that the Pacific Grand Prix website has now collapsed, and I can't help but thinking that we from the F1 Rejects ruined it, because only because we found it, it got so much traffic that their hosts realized it was still up and took it down for not paying bills (clearly they aren't F1 fans) or something. Also I am ashamed when I think I should've backed it up somewhere.

Everyone here is sorry. It was like a brother, or a sister, or, more to the point, our doggy. But we must carry on. We still have the Pacific profile on this site as well as Deletraz's and Lavaggi's bios.

Perhaps Deletraz had the F1 2011 game bug...the one where if you encounter traffic on a quali hot lap, the AI car ahead just seems intent on spoiling your lap by jerking around the track ahead of you. Usually making it impossible to overtake them without losing time & ruinning your lap!!!

Or maybe the Pacific car was so badly put together that it actually electrocuted him at that infamous moment.
