Thanks! His results for the Wartburg works team have not gone unnoticed!
Group Lotus Professional are interested in sponsoring both cars. (and of course festivalblog.be)

Team Lotus Bakeries on the other hand is also interested in creating its own team with #22 and #23, or starting a partnership with an existing team, no drivers are yet announced.

I'm gonna pitch in a team. It'll be Aston Martin Motor Racing, or simply Aston Martin. I'll gladly take the #16/17 duo. Hopefully the team won't become as rejectful as ArrowTech. The #16 will be taken by Alessandro Marchesi of Italy. The #17 can be taken by the first person who wants it.

Dagnall will have its own Junior Team!!

Kit-Kat Warriors

#20 -- Hansuke Shioya (JAP)
#21 -- Giconi Okorie (CAM) -- Cameroun

Chris Dagnall said:

We´re very pleased to open this opportunity along with our title sponsor Kit-Kat to bring the opportunity to talented drivers all over the world to prove themselves as serious racers. We´ve decided to sign in Hansuke Shioya an agressive driver. He´s the recent Japanese F3 Champion and I´m sure he´ll turn heads for the right reasons next year. In Giconi Okorie we have the first African driver in F2RWRS, and we are very proud to have a driver from the continent with us. He´s shown great promise in Uk Karting and in Formula Opel in Germany and we´ll try to give him the best material to show what he´s capable of.

Some evil journalists will say "But Sani Morgan was born in Esher in Surrey, lives in Esher in Surrey, has a British passport and is very caucasian with light brown fair and grey eyes, he is not african" and I say that his grandmother on his father side is from Nigeria, yes, yes, in fact I hired a genealogist and he has found that me and him share the same great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandfather. So he is african as me. So I will take credit for the first African in F2RWRS and I shall be the first one to bring aan African driver into F1RWRS too! Thank you, no more questions.

Some obscure motorsport magazine wrote:Dave Simpson purchases final F2RWRS team
Current Prospec F1RWRS driver Dave Simpson has purchased the final team spot for the inaugural F2RWRS season. The team is currently known as Simpson Motorsports, yet this is subject to change as Dave is in talks with a number of potential title sponsors, including current Prospec sponsors Fidanza and Eibach. The teams first driver is Michael Robertson, a fairly unknown 17 year old driver who's best achievement in motor-racing is a second placed finish on his first Australian Formula 3 weekend at the Morgan Park circuit.

And just to confirm the entry:

Simpson Motorsports
18. Michael Robertson (AUS)
19. TBA

In no particular order here are my preferred tracks:

Spa Francorchamps - Belgium
Brno - Czech Republic
Norisring - Germany (Street Circuit)
Cagliari - Italy (Street Circuit)
Monza - Italy
Monte Carlo - Monaco (Street Circuit)
Zandvoort - Netherlands
Estoril - Portugal
Oulton Park - United Kingdom
Vancouver - Canada (Street Circuit)
Laguna Seca - USA
Talladega - USA (Oval)
Jacarepagua - Brazil
Suzuka - Japan
Adelaide - Australia (Street Circuit)
Phillip Island - Australia
Surfers Paradise - Australia

That is Group Lotus Professional because else my virtual war with Team Lotus Bakeries wouldn't be as epic. (i'm also just a sponsor, it's tommy's team after all)
Team Lotus Bakeries on the other hand is interested in a waffle-deal with Phoenix' team, in both the F1 as the F2 series.

Autosport wrote:Melrose does first F2RWRS shakedown test

Former F1 World Champion and F1RWRS driver Daniel Melrose took an interim version of the planned Lola 2/14 with a detuned BMW P86/12 engine for a shakedown run around the Imola circuit today. The Australian completed 13 laps and set a fastest lap of 1:31.199.

"On cold tyres the car is very difficult to drive as it was understeering very badly, especially at low speed, but as the temperature built up I got more confidence in the car. However the car also had oversteer through the Villeneuve chicane and didn't behave too well over the kerbs. There is definitely room for improvement and the guys at Lola will be working hard to make the car a good proposition for both the drivers and the fans." Said Melrose to Autosport when asked about the car.

When asked about the engine/gearbox combination Melrose said "The engine is still very good despite it being detuned and having the limiter lowered to 16 000 RPM but the gear ratios are too long for the higher gears and the engine is lagging badly as a result but that can be fixed with some fiddling with the gearbox."

There are expected to be more private tests with Melrose in the car before the first full grid tests take place in a few months time.

Tropico To Send Driver?

The known involvement of Tropico in F1RWRS might even involve a rookie driver, Alberto Cara. Rumors have it that the young Tropican rookie, ironically enough, is supposed to take the number 5 car at Licor Beirão Portugal Racing. Cara, who has been taken under the wing of none other than Kay Lon is supposed to hone his skills in F2RWRS, before stepping up to the big leauges. So far, no comment has been made by the team about the situation.

Alberto showed much promise in lower formulas and we believe that our time together will bring success to both and, in the end, help Cara to reach his goal of driving in F1RWRS. Together with Catarina, who is very fast and also very young, we have a strong pair of drivers who, hopefully, will put our team on top. Finally, and to respond to some Portuguese critics who demanded an all Portuguese line-up, we always wanted to open our team to other markets, because it is our goal to not stay closed in our little corner. This is specially true for our sponsors who are now beggining to export their fine drink. By the way, you journalists should try it too... *Drinks a whole chalice of Licor Beirão and walks away*

Simpson Motorsports unveils F2RWRS challenger
Simpson Motorsports has just launched their 2014 F2RWRS campaign by confirming their driver lineup of Michael Robertson and Dave Anderson, as well as showing off the team livery on an old F1RWRS chassis. From the press image it appears to only be a tentative livery, complete with unpainted carbon fibre and a Brawn GP-esque flouro yellow stripe, as the team have not yet found a major sponsor.

Another student of Kay Lon?

According to rumours, self-proclaimed "best driver in the F1RWRS" Kay Lon has another student which he is willing to push into F2RWRS. The 17 years old Chinese driver Du Lei, who has been seen in four Italian Formula 3 races in the last season, with a 15th place in Mugello and a fastest lap in Monza being her best results. With only one spot left, the #10 car of Trueba Junior Team, it remains to be seen whether Lon can aid her career or not.

Asked whether Lei lacks the talent to make it big, Kay Lon merely responded by saying that she has "lots of talent", especially when "handling the gearshift". A confirmation of Trueba Junior Team on their number two driver is expected soon.

Kay Lon seems to be in yet more trouble, as well as being sued by his former employers, which the court case has been delayed so both sides can present their evidence. He has been accused by the 19 year old taiwanese karting driver, Gan Wan Moore that he took her to his hotel bedroom and offered to get her a drive in single seat series only if she played with his joystick and straped herself in, she said "He had his hands in his pockets and was moving them, as he said it, I ran out of the room and told my manager. The Taiwanese police have issued an arrest warant for Kay Lon and he will be arrested if he ever goes back to Taiwan. Kay Lon was unavailable to comment.

Thank you for ruining my not-so-subtle reference as to avoid becoming too family unfriendly... ;)

A Trueba Junior Team's official press release issued few hours ago states that the Italian team has signed up former Italian F3 championship driver Du Lei, 17-years old, assuring her seat number 10, alongside Marco Bizzarri. "We are pleased to announce that the young Du Lei will join our team for the next F2RWRS season", can be read in the press release.

"Du Lei - said Trueba's team principal, Giovanni Roda, interviewed about the fact - has already visited the factory in order to configure the cockpit sit setup and take a first view of the car".
Giovanni Roda - The most shamelessy rude and reject driver in 'F1 Challenge' Championship
- And in F1RWRS
- And... oh damn.

It'll probably be when the F1RWRS season finishes, so they can be run in parallel.

Ok, I have found a way to edit performance files so if you don't mind could each of you post some general characteristics of your drivers and I'll try some experiments to see how well I can do (obviously all the teams will be equal to represent the spec formula)
