We announce that we will support Dacia in the protest against the Illegal Skoda's.

We will support Dacia's protest, on the ground that our cars weren't allowed for the championship, because they would have been too dominant. We feel that we are not treated equally to Skoda by the Czechoslovakian government.

We will not protest anything, we have very interesting updates coming and we can still win both the drivers and constructor championships.

It's obvious that the Czechoslovakian Government got more money from Moscow for their automotive industry than the DDR recieves. We demand more money, or we will take action.

Yeeeeee haaa, if I can do well in a works Larda then you bet your bottom dollar that I would be leading the series with a comfortable margin in an old Skada. Series officials ban Skoda 110R
The dominant Skoda 110R has been banned from REECCS competition for simply being too fast, according to the main series official. All drivers who are currently in the Skoda have to switch cars before the next round. Officials for the series are currently in hiding, for the fear that HWNSNBM will pelt them with papayas, Brucie Kibbutz would overdose on the bull-shark testosterone and go into a violent rage and Niko Bellic would steal their expensive Mercedes S Classes.

Do remember that the Generic Times was the publication that was banned from F1RWRS reporting due to their terrible inaccuracy.

The Trabant team protests against the ban against Skoda. We need some competition, we would have easily beaten Skoda anyway, but it' would make the championship more exciting if people think some other macufacturer has a chance against our all-conquering wonder-machine.

I can't understand the decision. I am so tightly associated with Skoda that it's not possible for me to drive any other car. I have never driven so in my whole life, and I'm not only talking about racing cars here, it's also about the cars I will drive outside racing. My both parents work or have worked in Skoda factory, my mother is still working there and my father died few years ago at the age of 54, while still working there. If I wasn't racing driver, I would have likely worked there too. My wife is also working in a factory, and it would be shame for whole by family if I ever drive another car. Therefore I will stop racing in the series and in my future plans, I will probably move to rallying.

Team boss statement

Following the exclusion of Skoda, the team will run only one car, Lada for Maxim Simonov, in the next round. However, the negotiations about second driver have started and we'll have two drivers again soon. The second car is likely to be Polski-Fiat, but once the negotiations with the sponsors and drivers are done, we will inform you more.

Skoda not banned

It was reported in the media that Skoda cars had been banned, this is not the case, they will however be forced to carry an overweight American woman for a weight penalty to slow them down a little. The Dacia cars will be exempt from any form of weight penalty as the suspension woul probably break on the start line.

The officials of the REECCS are suing newspaper The Generic Times over false information printed in yesterdays paper. The Generic Times wrote that the Skoda 110R was banned from competition, where as in reality it was only getting a power restriction. More details will be posted later.

In other news, the Brisbane Speedway and Coffs Harbour races will be replaced by two other tracks, which shall remain secret until the races. Oran Park will be up next instead.

i think that - if there's going to be a second season, which i think there should be - we should have a maximum on how many cars a manufacturer can field. I propose something like '25% of the starting field' As with having 6 manufacturerers, this sounds fair(or possibly 7 if moskvitch is added, and i''ve read that the maker of the original mod might also be working on a Zastava). In a 40-car field there would probably be 10 skoda's and 10 lada's, but the rest would be more evenly spread. Who picks his car first, gets his car first next season.

Yet still i'm surprised only 4 of us have the guts to drive a Trabant...

An oh, can you update the entry list and livery list? I lost count of who is actually in with those thousands of skoda's, lada's and polski's.

What if the restrictions on the amount of Skoda's is equal to or greater than the current amount? If that's the case, I call dibs on Brucie's old Skoda. If not, then I'd like to run this Trabant I found - I'm not sure my Dacia will be ready for the next race as one of the wheels has gone right under the seatee and I can't quite reach it.

If that's really the case, I will rather run the skoda with the power restrictions proposed rather than switching to the lada. I understand that I'm taking a big chance on lower top speed and acceleration but I am confident that the handling is still sharp enough to take the corners well.

Round 10: Not a walk in the (Oran) Park

The much belated results of race 10 of the REECCS are finally here. There was carnage throughout, with high kerbs catching out plenty of drivers. In the end it was a two horse battle between the Skoda sponsored Polski-Fiat of Matej Uram and the Lada of Richie White, with Uram prevailing to win the race.



For some reason the video quality was very choppy towards the end, so I'll have to record video from the replay.
