Alright, so the i1 Supercar Series in underway, as the first testing is now complete.

Here you can see the results.

Is it surprising to see familiar faces on the top of the sheets or not? :)

Mika Salo didn't do as well, did he? When was the last time he raced?

And I'm expecting Jean Alesi to make some great starts!!!

(Oh, and good luck to Cynie Alleman!)
As hardcore as a peach...

Will Sakon's neck last the distance in these Radicals?
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Murray Walker: There's a car coming into the pits now, they're so unreliable with all those electronics on board.
James Hunt: Actually, Murray, one of his wheels has just fallen off...

Frentzen was the fastest beating several former and current F1 drivers? And he is only 44? That is F1 material right there!

This could be really exciting or really reject-worthy. Or both. The faces at the top don't surprise me, but I think we all need to look out for Ebrahim because he's looking like a win contender with that speed.

Go on, Cyndie! Put the disappointment of the 2014 F1RMGP WEC Season (that hasn't happened yet) behind (or should that be in front) of you!

Talking of which...

The i1 Press Office wrote:All set to take Indian motorsports to the next level, the i1 Supercar Series will hit your Television Screens on January 21st, 2011.

Cyndie's car was fitted with a flux capacitor. Having competed in the WEC, she travelled back to December 2011 to do some i1 testing, then took them all back eleven months to start the series. Marvellous!

This is officially my favourite racing series ever.

On a serious note, what is Liuzzi even doing there? I seems like a ridiculous step down (even if Radicals are faster then HRT!)

Yes, because it had Juan Pablo Montoya.

Wow, that looks like a good off-season entertainment :D
All those ex-F1 drivers with Indian rookies and Matthias Lauda, who is a reject on his own terms.
Any news on TV broadcast or something?

According to wikipedia, one of the teams running in this series is called "Delhi Gypsies". Hooray for political incorrect team names.

You cannot rise interest in the sport without having a race first, otherwise people will not believe you! :x

I was amused to read one of the reasons for the new delay is that i1 wanted to improve its marketing. I would like to proffer a few free tips:

1) Make your mind up! This is schedule #4 for a series that hasn't even started yet. I've seen fantasy championship with stabler schedules...

2) When making a schedule, check whether drivers are available for it before telling the world. I knew the moment schedule #3 came out that it wouldn't be definitive because all but two of the International-class racers were otherwise engaged with their normal series on at least one of the final two weekends...

3) Make sure there is some information on the website and that it is accurate (the race countdown thingy has been saying there's less than a day to go before the first race for about 5 months).

4) Try to put press releases on the official website at least at the same time as the major Asian news outlets release their news stories, if not before.

5) Make sure your Twitter account acknowledges events as they are happening and not just auto-post fluff pieces.

Can I have a job at i1as its press officer now, please?
