F1 Rejects Golf Championship

Postby WaffleCat » 14 Jan 2012, 00:57

Hello and welcome to the F1 Rejects Golf Championship!

I was thinking when I downloaded xkoranate today to decide what championship to do,so I decided to start a golf championship.

The rules are very simple. Each golfer that is entered(you can enter as many as 2) will all have the same rating. If a golfer gets first, second or third in a championship event, your ratings will go up as such.If your golfer finishes in the bottom 3,I will deduct ratings for those golfers. There is a points system, instead of a money list, just like in Formula One.The points are :

1st-15
2nd-12
3rd-10
4th-8
5th-6
6th-5
7th-4
8th-3
9th-2
10th-1.

1 Extra bonus point will go to the best round of the tournament. The season opener and season-ender awards double points each.

Just like in the Big Car Championship, there will be a chance for you to create your own Golf Course.Email me for your golf course.I will only accept the best 10 golf courses. Here is the template for each hole of the Golf Course

Hole number

Length:How long the hole is.
Par:
Height difference:To the nearest 2 decimal places.Enter a negative value for a negative gradient.
Sand:How many Sand Traps per hole
Water:Water Hazards per hole.
Narrow:Enter a value(up to 8) to determine how narrow the hole is.
Green:Enter a value(up to 10) to determine how tough the green is.

Just enter the name of your golfer(s) to enter.

Good Luck!

Is it stupid that I believed when I first saw this thread that I believed an rFactor championship with the VW Golf mod would be the case?

Well, nevermind - the truth is Alberto Cara always enjoyed playing golf.

Might there be some oddities in the golf courses, such as the very rare par 6 hole where it's possible to score a condor? Here's an example, not just of a par 6, but also that the 767-yard hole crosses a state boundary...

I'm going to be boring and suggest the world's oldest golf course. Detail for all 18 holes here.

Also, Golf Club la Rocca, Parma. Hole data here.

Also, what about an end of year Ryder Cup style tournament? There probably won't be enough American players in this so how about Europe vs Rest of World?

Only four more players until the minimum of 15 players is in.

What the heck, he may be absolutely useless at golf, and will probably spend most of his time on the course wasted, whacking trees with his 3 iron until it snaps in half, but Alasdair Lindsay is going to give the F1 Rejects Golf Championship a crack.

The F1 Rejects Golf Championship has been relaunched! Golfer signups are still available. Users are still allowed to submit two golfers. Once 15 golfers are set, the series will begin. Midseason entries will still be accepted. Course submissions can still be submitted to my email address.

After being banned from attending F1RWRS races for most of the 2015 season, Alasdair Lindsay has enough spare time to take up the challenge of the F1RGC, and one of his drivers, Alessandro Lucarelli, is also still interested in competing.

As such,Mr Dimitri Aya would like to take his mind off managing Pan-Asia Rally Team for a little while and just play golf.He keeps a first-aid kit in his bag just in case he finds Melrose and Lindsay duking it out in the Road Hole bunker at St. Andrews.

For you it would, mostly because Melrose would lose quite comprehensively in a battle with a angry Glaswegian
