I was racing at Adelaide in the rFactor 1983 mod, De Cesaris led pretty much the entire race until the two Tolemans took the lead on the penultimate lap.
Toleman almost scored a 1-2, Warwick was leading until Giacomelli overtook him.
Jarier was blocking badly though, so at least that part was realistic, and was so slow, that Giacomelli punted into him.
Warwick won.

It is easy when you have the difficulty turned down isn't it? Just ask Wizzie.

Even easier when you go change the drivers' name

Jean Alesi winning a race (with Jordan... don't remember when)
Jacques Villeneuve on the front row (USA)
I can recall HHF scoring two podiums with Prost
And Tarso Marques finishes 5th... after starting 19th (16 laps distance, I'm guessing it's about 10-15% distance)

I've got a B-spec team consisting of V.Petrov, S.Yamamoto, K.Kobayashi and D.Grassi.

I have 2002 on the PC. This crashing into about-to-pit drivers then pitting twice happens in that version too. Absolutely ridiculous.
Also, Formula One 2001 on PS1 (Not the EA game) has some botched up weird stuff:
- The Benetton-Renaults are always in the top 6, from the beginning. This is something that you never really saw in real life, aside from Spa.
- Only Heidfeld is semi-competitive with Sauber.
- Arrows are slower than Minardi.
- Marques' name is not recorded in the game, Murray says "MINARDI". What the f-?
- If you hit an about-to-pit driver, they go GHOST. What I mean here is that you cannot hit them anymore and they go through the pit wall and continue the race, then they slow down for not pitting! Retarded!
- Hitting other cars to make them spin is almost impossible, in the EA F1 2000 it was easy to do. (Hey, if you want to make a season with no points for Ferrari and McLaren, you have to do this...) They just keep going without slowing down into the gravel, hitting the wall, cutting the corners, and nothing happens! Only rarely I have saw any of them actually SPIN at the exit of the gravel / grass trap...

The game is also not competitive at all, qualifying doesn't matter for the AI because in race day it always was Ferrari, McLaren, Benetton, Montoya and Heidfeld in the top 8 since the first corners, with Frentzen and Ralf Schumacher a little bit behind.

Yeah, I forgot that. It was annoying to see my 10-second lead drop to 0.866 by the end of the race, within TWO laps on Normal difficulty in Spa.
And yes, that quali result is almost ALWAYS happening. I know the PS2 version got more attention, but come on, THPS3 also was decent on PS1 as well, not only on the new consoles.
Also, if anyone has F1 2003 on the PS2, did you try this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZlbu0ohyic

You'd still have better race pace than the Mercedes'.
