The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Murray Walker: There's a car coming into the pits now, they're so unreliable with all those electronics on board.
James Hunt: Actually, Murray, one of his wheels has just fallen off...

Ok, F1XRS stands for Formula One Xbox Racing Series. The series is like dinizintheoven's Microprose Grand Prix series thing he has, except this is the Xbox version. I pick drivers, made up drivers and real drivers. It is going to run like F1 2011, with the drivers I pick replacing the original drivers. For example, Noda is Vettel, and Sebastian Schumacher (my virtual driver) is Webber.

but do we have to do something or not...

if we don't, then don't worry about people not posting a lot, they just feel that they can't contribute much, but they defenitely read it, just like we do with dinizintheoven's microprose championship ;)

In addition to what the others have said, if you could write a story around what happened in races rather than just posting results, that would give more for people to comment upon and discuss. Just an idea?

Australia
Clear
Practice
(Note: I had to use F1 2011 for iPhone)
1. Jason Hamilton
2. Matt Dagnall
3. Sebastian Schumacher
4. Thomas De Bock
5. Tim McDonald
6. Hideki Noda
7. Rafael Carlos
8. Mike Andretti
9. Ayrton Senna
10. HWNSNBM

It was a very sunny and beautiful day on the circuit of Australia. Jason Hamilton does a good run to take first. Matt Dagnall, brother of Chris, was in a surprise 2nd with his quick Mercedes. The young German Sebastian Schumacher rounded out the top 3 with the super quick Red Bull. The Lotus-Renault's of Senna and HWNSNBM were at the bottom of the time charts, Senna ahead of HWNSNBM, the Hungarian driver. There wasn't too much surprises. Look forward to Qualifying!

Australia
Clear
Qualifying
Code: Select all
1. Tim McDonald
2. Sebastian Schumacher
3. Thomas De Bock
4. Jason Hamilton
5. Mike Andretti
6. Hideki Noda
7. Ayrton Senna
8. Matt Dagnall
9. Rafael Carlos
10. HWNSNBM

Tim McDonald looks promising: There is rarely any Americans that are truly successful in F1. Usually only Mario Andretti comes to mind. But Tim McDonald broke that barrier. He was first and he showed that America still has F1 hope. He showed America still has F1 pride. He was jumping with joy after winning pole. A great run by the young American driver who has had little F1 experience. He only started in practice. Besides that, he did a few tests with McLaren and Ferrari. On to 2nd: Sebastian Schumacher showed he has great skills at the wheel of a F1 car. As they said when Webber beat Vettel, not bad for the number 2 driver. Actually, we don't know if he's one, two, or equal. On to 3rd as Thomas De Bock makes a great drive for McLaren. He was very quick. "We knew the car was great, and we proved it. The car was very nice to drive." That is was De Bock had to say after qualifying. That is the top 3. Look forward to the race!

I don't really think about him that much. I knew there was more than that, but I really only thought about Andretti because he was the most recent successful American.

Here we go......
Race
Australia
Clear
Code: Select all
1. Tim McDonald
2. Sebastian Schumacher
3. Jason Hamilton
4. Hideki Noda
5. Thomas De Bock
6. Mike Andretti
7. Matt Dagnall
8. Rafael Carlos
9. HWNSNBM
10. Ayrton Senna

Look at that. That shiny trophy. The winner of that shiny trophy is..... Tim McDonald! He wins on his debut! Just a fantastic race for him. On the podium, he was so emotional that it looked like Barrichello's first win all over again. He raised the American flag, and held it high to show the guts and glory of America. Everyone knew we had a remake of Andretti and Hill. (I think) Andretti was the last American winner. His last wins were in the late 70's and early 80's. But, almost 35 years later, the pride and joy of America winning came back. Tim McDonald was the special driver to do that. Here was him talking over the radio after he won:
Rob Smedley: "Great job Tim on the win. You really deserved it."
McDonald: "AAAAHHHHHH! AAAAAHHHHHH! YES! FANTASTIC! AMERICA HAS WHOOPED ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES AS*ES! YEEEEEES! THANK YOU SO MUCH! AMERICA IS THE BEST! WE WILL DOMINATE!"
Look forward to the next one guys!
Reject of the Race: HWNSNBM. *gets papaya shield*
Drive of the Weekend: Tim McDonald!
