I'm honestly just trying to get the basics done

Actually you can spend "100%" on both, the slider between working in house and R&D is seperate. long story short I allocated 100% of your time on both kay.

Ah ok. Thanks :)

anyone wanna take bets on their team going bust first? Arrows at 3/1 if anyone wants to bet a buck or two

I'm putting a fiver on McLaren running itself into the ground

Seriously though, next time we do this, we HAVE to use the F1 Rejects Mod Nuppiz made a few years ago

And now for my favourite screen in the game :D

You can attempt to break in to any team (with the higher cost teams harder to break in to) and once in you can decide whether to swap parts or attempt to steal a part from their car. You can attempt to infiltrate as many teams as you want however once you have successfully broken in to one team you have to wait until after the next race to do another one.

(McLaren cost 60k also)

So as Arrows are the cheapest, Arrows will be the easiest to 'break' into? I wouldn't bother nicking my stuff, we're going for ultimate reject status

Williams are successful and take BAR's EMS, you also realise that BAR have better suspension, airbox and sidepods designs.

Minardi are also successful, BAR have better brakes, suspension, gearbox, transmission, electrical system and airbox then you.
As Minardi were working on EMS before the better one had arrived the staff have stopped work on the new EMS.

OK then, let's try and do stuff:

First, I'd like 20 excellent staff in everything, except for only 10 in commercial.
Then I'd like to get the engineering team working on semi-auto gears and EMS.
Then I need sponsors. 50% will be focussed on Bridgestone, with 25% each for FedEx and Martini. And the only only thing Wizzie told me that's sunk in: no merchandising.

All good?

Ferrari hats all round.

I am waiting for the majority of people to focus their development and pick sponsors. That being said, the first race will be soon, Saturday or Sunday is the target.

I should also add, that after breaking in you have the option of stealing or trading with the team you infiltrated.

Anismov would like their design/R&D balance to be 80/20
start the Projects
Semi-Automatic Gearbox up to level 1
Gear Box
Plus
Ansimov staff
Design:30 Good personnel
Engineers:30 Good Personnel
Mechanics: 30 good personnel
Commercial: 30 good personnel
Commercial timing as 10% merchandising, 90% sponsors
We also wish to chase the following sponsors;
Credit Suisse 45%
FedEx 30%
Martini 25%
O2 5%
Sign up Credit Suisse sponsorship in zones E, P, C and D.

all ok, apart from the fact you had it set to 105% (so I took 5% off FedEX)

I would say: Ferrari, Williams, Jaguar, Minardi, Arrows and Ansimov are ready to race
Renault, Toyota and Sauber are almost there
Jordan and BAR have posted
Heard nothing at all from McLaren (for some time)

Damn and blast!

Right, set BAR'S design/R&D balance to 75/25. Have 15 excellent staff in all departments. No merchandise.

I'd also like to start work on a new gearbox, and a new EMS, after the bastards at Grove stole ours

Sponsorship: Mild Seven (50%), Orange (26%), Elf (24%)

You can tell I'm gonna suck at this
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Murray Walker: There's a car coming into the pits now, they're so unreliable with all those electronics on board.

Ah right then

In that case, I'll scrap plans to build a new EMS. Increase the time spent on a new gearbox to 60%, and 40% on extra cooling, to avoid the blowups that marred BAR's 2002 campaign...

Ha, I have decided the best way is to post Qualifying results early in the morning, set a GMT deadline time for strategy with no option to edit your strategy, that way the advantage would be on those posting near the deadline time, naturally someone who does not post will have the default strategy the AI gives them.

I am more worried about the fact that if so many cars are pitting at once a) the game can cope with it and b) If one or two cars will be missed, it will be a pain to keep track of.

Unfortunatly you were unable to breach BAR's security (which is hilarious because I am sure East Londoner would of welcomed the trade!)

Ok, I would say both you guys are race ready now, though Toyota you still have 30% of your sponsorship time left (If you don't use it I will put the rest on Panasonic)

There were 9 finishers of the race. 7 of the retirements were Engine.
