Scuderia Platé-Varzi announces they will wear both models of Maserati 4CLT, the 'main works' 4CLT/48 for Fagioli and Von Stuck and the 4CLT for the remaining drivers entried for the European races (Indy's use of Kuzmas will continue)

Landi will race for Commesso in all the remaining races except France where he is taken by another team. Louis Chiron (who has been sacked by his team) will run France. I would also like to enter as many cars at indy as the rules allow driven by local drivers.

For Indy, you're allowed a maximum of 10 drivers, but only four per entrant (for Indy ONLY, as this is just to boost entries)

Strange requet this, but would Manzon and Sanesi be allowed to compete at Indy as ART-Offenhauser? I'm not bothered about losing points in the Constructors and teams titles, but both scored top points at Monaco and I'd like to try and keep that going.
For explanation on recent inactivity, please read 2nd post on 2nd page of 'just nipping out' thread. Thank you.

no, because monaco and indy are too close in the calendar (they often ran the same date), you can't run the same driver in both of them, as this would be theoretically impossible. You can run your cars there (as it would be theoretically possible to have more cars)

Just one thing though regarding drivers not being able to run at Indy because of Monaco - in the 60's people did run at Monaco and then Indy. I'm not sure if it would have been possible in 1951, though, maybe because of passenger jets not being that widely available?

The deadline is past, SuperAguri's privateers will race homebuilt cars with their last names as the chassis name. They will be given the classic Offenhauser engine. Motorsport Bleu will run Talbot-Lago-Talbots.

The short entry list should make things interesting, as only one driver will watch the race from the grandstands.
