I have you down for 60% on a new gear box and 40% on a cooling system, how do you want me to split it? Semi automatic gears are in a separate "driver aids" section.

Ah.

In which case, forget about developing new parts until the gearbox or cooling is finished...
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

I tried to run the game with all teams set to human and the game kept crashing, I then ran the game with the 12 teams and Asiatech set to off and the game kept crashing.

It seems there has to be at least 1 Ai team, otherwise the game does not work.

Ah ok, that's right :D

Renault, BAR, Toyota and Ansimov need to tell me where to place their sponsor logos and all teams apart from Ferrari have the option to steal/trade.

Otherwise little needs to be done and I will run race 3, Brazil, tomorrow. If you don't tell me where you want to place your sponsors I will do it myself as sponsor are vital for team finances and I can't just leave it blank.

Side pods are not really too much of a problem for Minardi, it is more the poor airbox that is causing Minardi their overheating problems.

Unfortunatly O2 would only sponsor 3 spots, so H and C are still free on your car.

You both fail, Williams manage to break in but get caught stealing the airbox, then Minardi attempt to break in and as If BAR are on high alert, prevent Minardi from Entering, Minardi still have the option to try with another team, Williams on the otherhand, better luck next time.

AdrianSutil wrote:Is no-one willing to sponsor Arrows then?

BAR just nicked Orange from sponsoring you and there is no interest from Kingfisher yet. Do you want me to focus 100% on them, or target some other sponsor?

Hmm, I won't tell you which teams have better stuff in each area on demand (because otherwise someone *cough* Wizzie *cough* would ask me about every part, then everyone else will ask me about every part and then I will get blamed for flooding too much information) but as I did screw up with Bernoldi: Ferrari, BAR, Jaguar, Toyota, Jordan and Arrows all have a better airbox

But GMP2 is such a complex game that you kinda need all that information to master the game :P

OK, we will try to steal an airbox from Jaguar, Toyota or Jordan. We will attempt to break into the teams in that order until we get a damned airbox  (and no going in twice, I don't feel like getting penalised for that)

you have 40% focus on Intel (5 stars no interest from them yet)
30% on Pepsi (4 stars, signed already) runs out in 11 races
and 30% on HSBC (3 stars, sponsor you already) runs out in 9 races

you also have 1 star lucky strike sponsorship that goes until the end of the season.

You make it in to BAR, since you have the same level brakes, instead you get their better transmission in exchange for your cooling system. *edit* BAR's ai seems to be a bit insane because Sauber benefit far more from that trade (2 stage better transmission for Sauber (the most expensive internal part) vs 1 stage better cooling system that really isn't very special) Still, for BAR that is better then having the part simply stolen!

Barrichello monsters his home qualifying and BAR manage to out qualify Williams, It was a shocker of a session for Michael Schumacher, Montagny, Hakkinen and Panis!

It is a 71 lap race.

Yes, because it had Juan Pablo Montoya.

Both Renaults inside the top 5. This is good.

Normally in this situation I'd run both cars on two-stoppers but since Interlagos is a relatively strange track on GPM2 when it comes to strategy I'll put both cars on three-stoppers instead

EDIT: Fisichella will pit first at all three stops

I'll put Badoer on a two-stopper and Sato on a three-stopper.
