I thought, he might be talking about showing it as a single character, like ½ and ¼. Trying to do the same with 1/3 throws up an SQL error.

Oh, OK. Any reason why? (And how do you get the characters like that? If I try in Microsoft Word, it just converts what I type into a single character automatically, if I remember correctly.)

You can get those characters by using alt codes (holding alt and typing in a number sequence). ½ = Alt-171, ¼ = Alt-172. There's a full list of alt codes here.

As for why it would give an error, I would assume that the board software simply doesn't know how to handle the character - I was certainly hard-pressed to find it on the internet.

I don't know, i can write ½, but when i get 1/3 i get an error message, every time again

and you can find it in word by 'add symbol' there you will defenitely find it.

It needs to be in one symbol, anybody who knows this driver will understand why

I know that is the other way of doing it in Word (there is even a 7/8 option there I believe. It was that way that I inserted a load ton of accented characters into a 10,000-word French dissertation in 2004 - tiresome...) But how do you do that on this forum without copy-and-pasting from Word?

Like I said, it's most likely the board's code doesn't support that character. Not that it should prevent the car having 1/3 on it, though I doubt it'll appear on the results sheet.

Not a problem, 33,33 ; 33.33 or just 33 would be fine, as long as the 33 1/3 on the car (or 2½ would be fine too)

Takagi Racing Enterprises has decided to retire Kazuhiko Takagi due to age issues and replace him with Tetsuya Takagi, his younger brother. :)

The livery? Same as before, but Himont replaced with Samantha Kingz - and some additional red lines at the car side. ;)

So:
Driver: Tetsuya Takagi
Number: 14
Team: Takagi Racing Enterprises powered by Super Aguri
Sponsors: SS United, Samantha Kingz
Livery: Like previous year, but with red lines in car side.

As stated before, Kekkonen and Groves will not race in this second season.

Instead, we shall see a new entrant, known as Dennis Scott. He bought a disused Trabant 601, tried to build a V8 but could only build a basic four-stroke engine (in other words, one cylinder, one piston, etc.). The total horsepower is about 35!!!!!!!! He asks the REECCS council if he can turbocharge the engine so he can bring that number to a 70.

Not only was the car unreliable, but it is also unaerodynamic. Scott will enter himself as to not having to pay another driver to drive for him.

Driver Name: Dennis Scott
Car: Trabant 601
Number: Whichever one uses the least amount of paint
Sponsors: None (please don't be a smart aleck and put "none" around the whole car)
Car colours: Whatever the colours the Trabant comes in, because he can't afford the paint!!!!

The Generic Times wrote:Alitalia make shock EastCars switch

Scuderia Alitalia have surprised many by making a sudden change of manufacturer. The FIAT Group has involvement in both Polski-Fiat and AvtoVAZ, and while they used the Polski-Fiat 126R last year, and intended to do so this season, the heads at Alitalia have decided to drop the compact 126R for the more stable Lada 2101.

"We decided the Polski-Fiat was rubbish...I mean, not the best use of our marketing resources," said Zoran Stefanovic, REECCS Team Principal for Scuderia Alitalia. "Fiat is looking to become more involved in the AvtoVAZ Group once again after stepping back for a while, therefore this switch makes economic sense for us. Also, it was much faster than that crappy 126 so hopefully we might win something."

Scuderia Alitalia has indicated an all new livery will be released soon.

Sure.

Would you mind changing the HRT liveried car to number 2, as Senreson already uses 22 and I don't think that Kay Lon will be racing in the #2 Trabant this season.

Sure.

Would you mind changing the HRT liveried car to number 2, as Senreson already uses 22 and I don't think that Kay Lon will be racing in the #2 Trabant this season.

Go ahead, doesn't bother me.

I only just realise MRT had 3 cars last year. Therefore...

The Generic Times wrote:Scuderia Alitalia adds third car for Academy drivers
After recently making the switch to Lada in the REECCS, Alitalia have announced yet another change, this time by adding a third car.

The existing #51 car will be run under a seperate name, Zenit Corse, signifying it is part of the squad's young driver programme. The car's programme will be split between youngsters Marcel Agyemang-Badu and Andraž Velikonja.

Badu will contest the first five rounds (Birmingham to Monaco), before stepping aside for Velikonja. Badu will return to the #51 car at Norisring, and remain there for the rest of the season.

The change to Zenit Corse means Carsten Jancker's Scuderia Alitalia entry has been changed to become #47.

Minardi, did you put Dennis Scott on the entry list? (His entry information is somewhere on this page, it isn't too far off.)

A couple more pieces of information:
Car number: 0 (if not, then 5 if it isn't taken)
Car livery: The back is to be covered by the Fuschia paint loaned by This' team

REECCS Calendar Announced
After much speculation (from the entire REECCS fanbase of 5 people) the REECCS calendar has been announced.

The fanbase could, possibly, increase to six.

Are there any spaces left for this season?
