Yet another team has confirmed that it will compete the F1RMGP Endurance Challenge. Pac Racing Team, a Japanese racing team with moderate success in various racing categories, has decided to enter the series, using the Nissan GT-R. "We have a good expectations for this endurance challenge", said Shinji Yazaki, team principal.

They will be Hiroto Tojo (Japanese), which this year drove for Takagi Racing Enterprises in the revived Rejects of LFS, in which he secured at least 2 sprint podiums; Steven Mackintosh (British), fresh from his experinces from Mitie Aviation Racing and Mecha Grand Prix F1RWRS teams; and Timo Glock (German), a F1 driver with varying degree of success in Jordan, Toyota and Marussia (nee Virgin).

As entries for the 2014 24 Hour V8 Bathurst are underway, certainly the most bizarre has to be that of Team James Davies, which consists of 3 James Davies' from different times and realities. I managed to get a word with the 1995 edition, who seems to have appointed himself leader of the trio.

IP: So, how did all this start? Was it your idea, and if so, how did you become aware of this race?
JD95: Well, it's kind of an odd story. See, there I was in Woking, just helping the team out as I do, and I go over to my desk and there's an entry form. For this race. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I thought about it, and I thought to myself, who would I trust to drive the car other than myself? I can't let me be dragged down by an inferior co-driver! So I decided to time-travel, grab another me from another time, and then get 2014 me and make the best team of all-time.
IP: Time travel? Isn't that supposed to be impossible?
JD95: Yes, but I bumped into a couple of guys who said their phone booth could time travel. They really liked to air guitar, cool guys. Anyway, I persuaded them to let me borrow it to enact my plan.
IP: But it's merged with a DeLorean now!? How the hell did that happen?
JD95: Not sure. Um, I recall Douglas (Mann) saying once he had a DeLorean that could travel through time. I didn't want him to have a better time machine than me, so I decided to combine the phone booth with a DeLorean I found. Somewhere.
IP: How did you combine them?
JD95: Not a damn clue. I was pretty smashed by then. All I know is I used a sledgehammer for... something. When I came to, it looked like it does now. So I hopped in and took off.

The grid will be decided by the fastest time for each team, and as I've said, there will be no DNQs - it's a one off, so everyone will be involved. Why hasn't anyone put Ben Fleet in a car yet? Trundling around in that Pacific in the first F1RGP2C season is perfect preparation for a stint in one of the Reject Garages™ here. And what about Giovanni Roda? I was hoping to see him get a drive, if only to see how badly he'd do.

I'm here, and I must say that This needs to get off those strong hallucinogenic drugs. I hear Unicum mixed with Mountain Dew has much the same effect, and for a much lower price, not to mention that it's legal. If you have no Unicum, ask HWNSNBM and see if he'll bring some from his castle just outside Kecskemét.


And so - with those four "overdrawn" teams having put their affairs in order, there are still five garages left - Ford garages F7 and F8, Nissan garages N7 and N8, and Holden garage H8. Who's going to join in the fun in the Reject Garages™ and take on tommykl's Gillet Ecurie Nationale Belge for the honour of leading the charge from the final two "proper" rows? And, will the DeLorean in garage X9, with two very handy drivers, pull a surprise on them all? Let's have a bit of reject spirit in this race!

This - you probably have no need to be concerned about handing over Scuderia Minardivas, because they were guaranteed an entry from the inception of the race, and I'll say that if there are still free slots by the end of April 18th, then I will open up the remaining grids for those running a car already to be the Norberto Fontana in comparison to the head of the grid's Michael Schumacher.

As it stands, a 21-car grid is absolutely viable, but I still hope for all 26 slots to be filled.
