What championship are you watching mate?

This (yours, not Phoenix') and the "Webber's beating Vettel!" arguments baffle me. Do people seriously think that Michael's gearbox problem and Seb's cucumber problem were their fault and that that's enough for Nico/Mark to get the jump on them? (Then again, people are still saying that Webber deserved the title in 2010...)

Who said that Schumi's gearbox failure in Australia was his fault? Seriously though, Rosberg may have put in a brilliant drive in China but Schumacher's generally had the edge over him otherwise. It's just that Michael's been a victim of circumstance in all three races (The gearbox in Australia, being hit by Grrrsssjjjnnn in Malaysia and the dodgy pitstop in China). In the one race Michael did finish in Malaysia, he was relegated to the back by Grrrsssjjjnnn yet ended up half a minute up the road from Rosberg by the end. Basically, luck permitting, Schumacher should be ahead of Rosberg in the championship right now.

Oh and Seb's cucumber problem on the other hand was his fault

I don't get it.

No, I'm laughing at the fact that he thinks Rosberg's been doing the better job this year. Besides, he's been here long enough to know you don't take a single word I say seriously.

And it's been proven for years just because the FIA makes a ruling on something that happens on track doesn't mean it's necessarily right. And it's not as if Karthikeyan chose to stick around the outside of the corner. He was forced there because of the preceding Marussia overtaking him in the middle of turns 7 and 8.

Actually, I have a gut feeling that all of this is because I misread Phoenix' post. :? Apologies for that.

And I'd comment on whatever eurobrun and the other guy said, but I'm too busy laughing at the fact that, unsurprisingly, they're unwilling to accept cold, hard facts. Oh, and their nationality.

Regardless, I think I'll just report my posts in order to delete them. Can't delete the previous ones, so yeah. Sorry for the trouble.

No problem. Just leave the posts there because the mods here don't mind, and actively participate in, the off-topic ramblings

And ignore those two. Lappy's just my muppet friend from school and Eurobrun's chosen the wrong one of us as a mentor

Hey, I don't really know how the moderators around here are, so I figured I shouldn't risk anything. :( Already reported my posts, but I guess it's up to them to decide what to do with 'em.

Ah. So you're one of those people who assume that all Webber fans hate Vettel because he's destroying Webber then? Yes, the collision with Karthikeyan was Narain's fault, but the way Vettel acted afterwards was ridiculous.

Looks like spending too much time on r/F1 was a bad idea after all. You're probably the first Aussie fan I know whose fave current driver isn't Mark.

ROTR - Reject of the race, awarded to the most rejectfull performance of the weekend.
IIDOTR - Infinite improbability drive of the race, awarded to the most surprisingly good performance of the weekend.
DMTMOTR - Dead beat teammate of the race, awarded to the driver who performs worst when compared to his teammate.

It might be usefull to describe all the acronyms in future threads.
