We already have two contracted drivers for 2015, so not happening.

Then there u go, Mestolio not back ;)

What if a third team comes in and he is guaranteed a seat at that team though? ;)

Replacing Melrose with a pay-driver? Smart. ;)

Tropico News Today wrote:Older Jr. Returns!

Today, our glorious leader El Presidente informed us that he has given the staff of Tropico Grand Prix powered by CR Motorsport what they want and accepted the remorseful veteran Darren Older Jr. back into the Tropican family for the upcoming 2015 season.

This move is especially generous, given the fact that the betrayal of the Dagnallian driver has cost our team the Hitachi sponsorship which will not return with him. "I am forever grateful for the ever-lasting generosity of El Presidente," Older Jr. said according to the girlfriend of a brother of a friend's uncle who knows a charlady at Older Jr.'s favourite pizza service.

To make a long story short: I will have Older Jr. drive again and have him become a non-pay driver (he has more than 10 points, so...). Shadaza, if you happen to look into this thread could you please tell me whether you mind that plan?

Well I'm certainly not going to make a rash decision right now, Melrose has scored more points than Jones this year (just!) and I want to see how his performance continues for the remainder of the year. He's done well in the car, and that's not something I can guarantee from Mestolio, and I'm going to need two strong, reliable drivers next year, and I know I can get that from Melrose. I don't know about Mestolio. Plus, I already have an agreement with Wizzie for Melrose next year, so unless Wizzie wants out (something I suspect is highly unlikely) then I don't intend to change my position.

Whilst it is a somewhat attractive idea running Jones alongside a pay-driver for more credits, I don't want to do it at the expense of Melrose, and also compromise any chance the team might have at either championship.

If any other team wants to jump in and take up Kostas' offer, then go for it. If I was to make a decision, it probably wouldn't be until the end of the season anyway.

Mitie Aviation might be interested in the Mestolio deal. Is he a pay-driver? If not, what's been spent on him in terms of qualifying and race performances?

He is a pay driver, but one of the better ones, somehow...I don't understand how it works, but it seems Ben Fleet is the ultimate pay driver, and Mestolio has seemed like a pay driver with surprising potential but occasional inconsistency.

Luckily for me, the 15 credits offered are paid off by the 5 ARC lost to me in a bet, and 10 that Simpson Motorsports owe me :D

Prospec might also want in on this Mestolio deal. AdrianSutil must hate me right now

In fact, if Mestolio chooses Prospec over Mitie, we will offer Mitie Jean-Luc Schiller's services for 2015, for free.

Yeah. I hope your team crashes and burns next season

Haven't got a problem with Prospec getting involved with it. But as for Schiller, can I ask the same questions I asked about Mestolio please?

I wouldn't go anywhere near Mestolio, he's too inconsistent and has a tendency to be deletrazianly crap a couple of times a season.

Schiller is a pay-driver, and has for the most part been pretty slow. However, he has qualified in the top 20 a couple of times and somehow dragged the car into the points on one occasion.

Mestolio would be in fact really honoured to drive for such an expert team and partnering Kay Lon for the 2015 season. And yes, he prefers Prospec over Mitie because Mitie asked for money AND a replacement driver when Dagnall wanted Neuberg and Prospec´s demand seem to be more on earth.

So, Pemberton Prospec, we will loan you Mestolio for 2015 on the understanding that you take him onboard for the ENTIRE SEASON. If you sack him mid-season you will be wholly responsible for any fines DGN start chasing us up for. You will be paid 15 credits at the start of the season by Alitalia for hiring him, but this will be refunded to us if you sack him.

I´m afraid there´s no deal for Alitalia here, since you don´t have any rights for Mestolio over 2015. Prospec expressed their interest in Mestolio for 2015 and Chris Dagnall, as Mestolio´s manager, has accepted the deal, end of story. Now, if you want Mestolio back for the last 3 races of 2014, then you must deal with ARC, which is the team Mestolio is contracted until the end of the season.

By the way, how are Neuberg's pay-driver stats? He seems to be spanking Valsattis every weekend.

Gave up. SuperAguri (does he own Vantini?) wasn't responding so I've decided to pursue other options. Plus it'll be useful to have a pay-driver. Actually, before Mestolio became available I was looking very likely to re-sign Schiller.

Schiller is now available for anyone who wants him. Don't forget he has shown flashes of promise including an excellent 6th place at Monza.

Melrose is staying steadfast to his Jones deal for next year as he's feels right at home in the team plus there's not really many other decent options available to Melrose for 2015. Then again, seeing Melrose in either the second Prospec or DGNineering seat for 2016 would be something to behold, wouldn't it?

Ron Mignolet would like to debate that, wherever he is :P

Truth be told, Mignolet's teammates weren't exacly the fastest of the field...

Any pay-driver who gets a podium is fast in my opinion! :)

Yeah, on one of the few occasions that Ben Fleet actually made it to the finish line... And doesn't he have the record for most poles in a season? (At least that's what the wiki says, if I remember correctly...)
As hardcore as a peach...

West Cliff Results 2015
F1RM WEC: 1st (drivers)/2nd (teams)
F3RWRS: 3rd (drivers)/3rd (teams)

Pole positions mean almost nothing in the races.

He does indeed, though Phillippe Nicolas is equal with him on 7! Overall Fleet is joint second for most pole positions overall too, three behind Nathanael Spencer with 10.

He's AWOL from the forums frequently. Have you tried e-mailing him? ;)

Mitie announce name and chassis change for 2015:
Mr.Alexander spoke today about the changes for next season, with title sponsor Kingfisher buying Mitie Aviation's remaining stake in the team. "Mitie Aviation have gradually decrease their funding for the team, citing poor performances as their main reason for pulling out. We are not worried as my own finances have kept the team from folding. After signing a deal with Kingfisher, they again approached us about taking over the team completely. I wasn't happy at relinquishing my own stake so we have reached a 50/50 agreement."
But how close was the team from folding? "It was looking increasingly likely we would have sold the team completely, we kept it quiet from the press as it's something we wanted to sort out ourselves but now we have the financial needs to continue into next year."
And the team name for 2015? "Kingfisher Racing, with the chassis known as KR-002 rather than 001. The F2 team will be known as Kingfisher Holden and will have the KH-001 chassis and the F3 team will be called Kingfisher Junior and run the KJ-002 chassis. Eurotunnel also leave as sponsors but we keep Adidas and Drubnik."
For explanation on recent inactivity, please read 2nd post on 2nd page of 'just nipping out' thread. Thank you.

So, just to clarify and make things on the Wiki easier, the constructors name will switch from Mitie to Kingfisher as well AdrianSutil?
