It's not a Drubnik logo. I just shoved the Kingfisher logo on there because I put Lola and Michelin on the front wing.
Theo Rulboke wrote:Having completed our investigation into both Cars 7 (Mitchell Macklin) and 15 (Johannes Rueckert), we have decided to extend their bans to two races. For both drivers, one race will be served immediately and the other will be suspended until the end of the year. The extension for Rueckert was given due to the fact that cars 18 (Michael Robertson) and 21 (Bastian van Nieuwenhuijzen) were both judged to be held up by the slowing Hydook car. Meanwhile, Macklin had ended up in the middle of the track which was not only incredibly stupid but downright dangerous as well.
Finally, as a result of this, from 2015 onwards, the stewards will take a very dim view on drivers crawling around the track after an accident at the FedEx 100. Should anyone be found guilty from this year onwards of doing it, they'll automatically be handed a one race ban effective for the first round of the following season.

Tom Douglas, F2RWRS Commissioner in a memo sent to all teams wrote:First of all, I'd like to say hello to all the team owners for 2015 and hope that you'll like me a lot more than my predecessor Mr Don Rennis. Secondly, I'd like to draw your attention to the F2RWRS Regulations for this year. The first item I want to point out is article 1.1.5. which would be of great interest to the Chrysler Group in particular. We haven't made it a secret that we're disappointed in the chassis Lola has provided for the series so therefore, we've taken it upon ourselves to open up options for teams in 2016. For interested manufacturers, next year's technical regulations will be emailed to you within the next week or so.
The second section I want to point out is Article 5 regarding penalties. While they won't be in effect in the F2RWRS for 2015, they will be in the F3RWRS so I suggest that you look at how it's applied very closely as the F2RWRS plan to implement this new penalty system in 2015. However, the ruling on track crawling at Indianapolis will still apply regardless of what penalty system we use due to the high speeds involved and the safety issues it brings which, unfortunately, Mr Jason Hamilton found out the hard way. Thank you for your attention and I hope to be working closely with you in the future.
Yours sincerely
Tom Douglas, F2RWRS Commissioner

Autosport wrote:F2RWRS Invitational announced
Earlier today, F2RWRS Commissioner Tom Douglas announced that there will be a non-championship round held alongside the F1RWRS Luxembourg Grand Prix. 11 of the 14 existing F2RWRS teams will be racing in the event but with a catch. All the drivers that will be participating will have to be drivers that are racing in the F3RWRS and have done a maximum of 3 F2RWRS races. "This is a great opportunity for F3RWRS drivers to get a taste of what F2RWRS machinery is like" said Douglas. "It's also a fantastic opportunity for teams in the F2RWRS to be able to evaluate the long-term prospects of many of their young proteges against many of the people they'll be racing against in the future. Right now, our invitations are aimed at F2RWRS teams that participated in 2014 on the basis that they'll already have much of the equipment ready to go for the race but that doesn't mean that the new teams aren't allowed to show up. On the contrary, provided they're ready, we're willing to let them have a shot as an extended test session and see if they can show some of the more experienced players up before pre-season testing really begins."

The GRM Holden Young Lions today announced that ZimSport F3RWRS drivers Ryan Zimmer and Carter Simpson will be given drives in their two cars for the non-championship F2RWRS Luxembourg Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Team principal Garry Rogers said "We are pleased to be given this chance to run two exciting young drivers in our F2RWRS cars before next season." Simpson has been recently announced as the driver in next year's empty Young Lions seat alongside Tommy Nash.

Sammy Jones has announced his Castrol Jones Racing team intend to compete at the non-championship F2RWRS race to be held at the Nurburgring alongside the marquee F1RWRS race.
"We're definitely interested" revealed Jones, "it will be a great opportunity for the team to get some practice in before the start of the 2015 season, now we just need to finalise some drivers."
It's widely believed Connor O'Heagan will get one of the seats at Jones' team, but the other remains far from secure as of yet.
"We'd like to have Connor in one car, yes, and I'd love for Eric Swerts to take the other seat, but I suspect Gillet will want him in their car, and if that is the case, we won't block Eric from driving for them. We'll keep the seat open for as long as possible as I'd rather not let young Roberto Dinella take the seat as he's yet to even start an F3RWRS race. Still, we'll see how things pan out."
Mitie Aviation Holden offer Lilly to CJR:
Mr.Alexander is unable to have his team compete in the non-Championship event, but that hasn't stopped him offering Ashley Lilly to any prospective teams looking to fill a seat. "Ashley is itching to show what he can do at every opportunity. We are unable to run our own operation due to financial reasons, but would love for Ashkey to gain some more experience. Ashley competed on the latter half of last season in the F3 series, picking up a win at Spa, so he comes with proven speed and skill. Hopefully, CJR will get back to us soon."
Whatever the outcome, Mr.Alexander has promised to pay for any damages should Ashley suffer a crash during the weekend.
Gillet announce line-up for Invitational
Tony Gillet has confirmed which two young drivers would represent the team in the F2RWRS Invitational as next season's drivers Eric Swerts and Jean-Vincent Albertini. He said that he "was happy for Jones to suggest hiring him, but as he will be driving for us in the F2RWRS next year, we prefer to help him get used to the atmosphere in the team and to how we work here, the same reason as for why Jean-Vincent will drive the second car."

Hydook extends McCracken's contract to two races
British driver Phil McCracken will be driving for Hydook in the first two races of the season.
F2RWRS commisioners decided to ban Johannes Rueckert for the first race, and Phil McCracken was called out to be the substitute driver for the time being.
Recently the penalties were revised and Rueckert - as well as some other drivers - was given a ban for the second round as well.

AERORACING ENGINEERING TO ENTER F2RWRS INVITATIONAL
The recently formed Aeroracing Engineering team, which was formerly known as Team Phoenix, will enter the F2RWRS Invitational, as expressed by team owner Phoenix McAllister.
The team will run this year's car, now painted in Aeroracing's colors. This will mark the first outing of the new team at a F2RWRS event.
McAllister has expressed his excitement: "It's great the RWRS Comission has brought up this event, since it will allow us to evaluate two drivers we have in high regard. While they won't make the jump to F2RWRS yet, they'll be gaining some valuable experience and will have the incentive of a promotion to the series, provided they perform well enough at F3RWRS. Also, we'll operate as Aeroracing this weekend, so this will also allow some of our new staff to be taken through its paces".
The team has also confirmed their lineup for the race: Brazilian Raul Souto Maior, who has already had two F2RWRS as a substitute to Tanner Jason while the American was serving a ban, scoring a 6th place at its first ever outing, and American Hillary King, who has recently been renewed as a F3RWRS driver for Aeroracing.

Autosport wrote:F2RWRS Commissioner Open to Prize Money Overhaul
F2RWRS Commissioner Tom Douglas has announced that he'll overhaul the F2RWRS prize money system for 2015 onwards to make it easier for F2RWRS drivers to move up into the F1RWRS amid growing tension amongst team owners over the new Superlicense Criteria. "I've heard there's some tension in the F1RTA over the new criteria, especially over the removal of the criteria for Formula One drivers" said Douglas at the official announcement of the F2RWRS Invitational last week.
"Mr Melrose in particular has been quite vocal about having the criteria reinstated amid all the complaints that reinstating the criteria will make it difficult for drivers in the F2RWRS and F3RWRS to move up. On the contrary, a driver that spends three years in the F2RWRS would acquire 90 experience points for both qualifying and the race which is already a 90 credit saving for teams in the F1RWRS on driver development costs. Also, if said driver was to finish 4th twice and 5th once under the present credit system during that time, the team he signs for would get a further 125 credits up front, which is nothing to sneeze at."
"Therefore, it is my opinion that having the criteria reinstated wouldn't be a bad thing for the F2RWRS and any claims that it is are totally unfounded. If necessary however, I'm willing to overhaul the credit distribution system with a draft copy of it being sent to my superior Mr Prieto and the F1RTA within the coming days should it be requested."

Basically, it means you've become our answer to Martin Brundle. If you accept, you'll be doing the commentary for the Luxembourg Invitational race and even have the option of compiling the highlights package yourself if you want and/or if I'm too lazy to pull out my finger and do a better job myself.
