Parma Corse would like to run a Martini Racing livery at the Monaco SuperPrix only, in line with the one-off full car sponsorship deal also in place with the F2RWRS team for the same weekend.

What if..

So I would like to enter Stephanie Brown (USA) to the series, bringing sponsorship from Target and Reliant Energy. She has a good background form Mini Sprints and Sprint cars and race at F-Renault 2.0 USA before going to the same category in Europe. In 2011, she ran the FR3.5 with two wins

Thanks very much TMLW, I like the colour scheme, I was just wondering if you could shift the sponsors around a bit - could I have Sainsbury's on the rear wing, white on orange; KH-7 on the sidepods (where Eibach is); Eibach moved to the side of the nosecone (on the white bit); Royal Purple on the engine cover. Everything else shifted around as necessary. Can you also put a big white number on the purple/blue on the nose please?

Thank you :)

Richie White and Damon Cannon are ripe for an F1RWRS comeback too! I think I remember reading somewhere that both have had a sizeable amount of additional qualifying points spent on them from the 2013 season!

You can enter up to five RWRS drivers through all three series. Assuming you still own Whitechapel, you have four drivers left. (I wouldn't use them all at once.) If you can't think of a name for one of the drivers, I could be of assistance...

In that case, FantometteBR can have the last remaining seat in the F3RWRS, and I'll consider re-entering Damon Cannon for the 2015 F1RWRS season instead. I think I'll take back ownership of Poppy.

No, you don't need a game, you only need to develop a character (full name and a short racing CV should do).

Oh, and of course you need the owner of Kingfisher Junior to agree with you joining his team.

You could also take control of Judd McAllister. Since Phoenix barely gave him any characterisation, you'd be having virtually a new character to work with.

Looks like we need a bit of education here! ;)

Basically the way all three of the RWRS series, plus the RoLFS series work is that there is a member running each series (Aerond for F1, Wizzie for F2, The Masked Lapwing for F3 and Nuppiz for RoLFS). Everyone else enters teams and drivers into the series, and apart from the picking a chassis and engine in F1RWRS, that's it. The guys mentioned above run the races themselves, posting the results on here, and we all write bits and bobs, and fill out each series with background information. A good place to get a hold of all of this would be the wiki, http://f1alternate.wikkii.com/wiki/Main_Page and from there you can access all the teams and drivers and their history.

Also, it's of importance that you read the rules, in this case for the F3RWRS here.

You can enter your driver, and AdrianSutil, the owner of the Kingfisher team which is the only one with a slot left, can choose to hire you. You have competition though from FantometteBR who is also after the seat with their driver.

Good luck and have fun! :)

Kingfisher Junior: No rush to decide 2nd driver.
F3RWRS backmarkers Kingfisher Junior, the new name for Mitie Aviation Racing, have received several drivers CV's in recent times, as the second seat is now the only spot available for 2015. However, Mr.Alexander will not be rushed into making a decision. "The final round of the F1RWRS is here, and after that the competitive season will finish for everyone. We will be evaluating all our options and making an announcement in a week or two. I would like to stress however, that an English or Australian driver remains our top priority but are more than happy to talk to any prospective youngster about a seat. We may also take up the option of signing two drivers who can share the seat between themselves."
For explanation on recent inactivity, please read 2nd post on 2nd page of 'just nipping out' thread. Thank you.

Think I'll start up a new driver.

Name: Calvin Brooks
Born: 19 February 1995
Bio: Born in Vancouver, Canada, Calvin Brooks is Canada's big hope for the future. After dominating every kart race he came across, Calvin was tipped for a fast track to the IndyCar series after winning over half of the races in his debut Indy Lights series in 2013. However, his ultimate goal was to succeed in Europe, and moved to the UK in January to pursue that ambition. A year later, and Brooks can add a close 3rd place in the British F3 series to his resume. Brooks' season was a tale of very quick, but also very wild driving - he qualified on pole nearly 80% of the time, but often wound up overdriving and crashing. Still, he led the series in wins, with 9 of a possible 30, and was in position to seal the title with another win when his engine let go on the last lap.

Brooks is hoping to find a seat for the 2015 F3RWRS season, but is willing to settle for a developmental contract and another year in British F3.

Jones Racing will need a driver to fill in for Swerts I believe at some points during the year when he has F2RWRS commitments, and therefore the team are in the market for a young driver to take on as a reserve should they be required. As of yet, with Swerts' schedule still unconfirmed, there is no guarantee of a race seat for 2015, as Swerts may end up contesting the full programme, and Dinella with his Lampre sponsorship is tied to the team for the year. However the team are interested in both Bob Sampson and Calvin Brooks as potential talents for the future, and should one be given the Kingfisher drive, Jones Racing would be very interested in talking to the other with a view to being reserve for 2015 and a guaranteed seat in the F3RWRS for 2016. Alternatively if either driver expresses a preference for taking the drive, I will hire them immediately.

There may also be potential for some starts in RoLFS during 2015, but that remains to be seen.

The Best In The World™ brand has also announced its intent to consider Calvin Brooks as a possible driver for their young driver program and race driver for 2016 or 2017. However, we would be demanding him to switch to Formula Nippon and take part in the 24 Hours Of Le Mans to broaden his racing horizon as Kay Lon believes it is of uttermost importance for a future champion to have a lived through a wide range of racing series.

Although given the fact that phoenix had to denounce Judd McAllister and odds of another user picking him up are not good, there is a small chance of Brooks already getting a drive for 2015.

Actually, with the way next year's calender is structured, the only F3 race Swerts might miss is Round 2 at Laguna Seca depending on when the F2 race at Kyalami falls when Aerond releases the F1RWRS calender. All the others with the exception of the Surfers SuperPrix are support rounds of the F2RWRS.

LAPPY! I got some good news and some great news.

Good news: I found a 2008 IndyCar mod which I might give to you just for the hell of it. I also found my copy of the GP2 2009 mod on the laptop

Great news: Found some new tracks for GP4 which include:
Brands Hatch GP layout (There is a God  )
Buddh International Circuit
Watkins Glen
Paul Ricard (The full length track)
CSM compatible 2001 tracks (Which means we can have the Old Hockenheim just for the hell of it :P )

Note that the first four are all beta versions so they'll be like Jerez (i.e. no real scenery of note)

Oh and also, there's a version of Bathurst which is W.I.P and I'm keeping a close eye on it

Bugger that, I've found Oran Park so I'm going to come up with some story about how it was rebuilt at Penrith Speedway for a potential non-championship race

When the calendar is released, I'll make sure that Swerts can take part in all races for the F3RWRS. If some races clash with each other, that's what Gregor Pascal is for :P

Zytek still not in agreement with BITWM[/size]

After Prince Falik sold the Falik Arrows Team to Best In The World Motorsport for nothing except for the debts and contracts, Zytek were annoyed that BITWM decided to go with Honda engines rather then the Zytek engines built for the team. Zytek are also pushing for BITWM to use the Zytek chassis. Despite discussion neither side have managed to agree on anything, an inside said they hoped that Zytek would just disappear after they bought the team but Zytek are sticking to the contract. There is an opt out clause which allows the team to drop the engines or the chassis but there is a fine, and the find would total around eight million dollars, which for an F3 team is a huge amount of money. Zytek said they would make a concesssion of allowing the team to run the Zytek chassis for two years and then they could drop Zytek without penalty but BITWM are still trying to negoiate this too.

So with that news then...

Autosport wrote:Jones Racing begin search for reserve driver

With the announcement from Eric Swerts' management that the Belgian driver intends to compete at all the F3RWRS races for 2015, Sammy Jones has revised his plans and now intends to sign a reserve driver for a seat at his team for the 2016 season, most likely to replace Swerts, who is expected to graduate to a full time seat in the F2RWRS at Gillet by that point.

"We're definitely in the market, yes" reported Jones, "we're currently looking at either Sampson or Brooks to take the spot, both look like exciting prospects and we'd like to have one of them on board to take an F3RWRS seat for 2016. For this coming year, we're prepared to line them up with some finance and a seat somewhere in British F3, and after that, promote them to our team regardless of results for the 2016 season. Here at Jones Racing we're deeply committed to bringing through new motorsport talent at every opportunity, and this intent to sign a reserve driver demonstrates our commitment to this promise."
That's right Eddie, that was me with the banner, Spanish GP, 2002. This pile of legal forms won't fill itself in you know...
