Vettel - 8: Solid drive, not much else to say.
Webber - 6: Not helped by the strategy, but apart from making a good start, he didn't seem to have that much pace.

Button - 7: Not as quick as Hamilton, and horribly comprimised by the strategy.
Hamilton - 10: Fully deserved the win, judged the race perfectly

Alonso - 8: Damage limitation really. The Ferrari was not as good as it has been today.
Massa - 6: Anonymous.

Schumacher - 1: Bad Luck Schumacher is back.
Rosberg - 6: That Mercedes was junk, I'm fairly surprised he scored

Raikkonen - 9: Great stuff, he surely must be aiming for a win at Spa.
Grosjean - 8: Drove solidly, but just did not have anything for Hamilton.

Di Resta - 6: Meh. Beaten by Hulkenberg again.
Hülkenberg - 7: Meh. He beat Di Resta, I suppose.

Kobayashi - 3: Forced off by Vergne at the start, and that was it for him. How the hell did he finish behind Kovalainen, though?
Perez - 5: Stymied by a car that seemed to have lost all of its pace

Ricciardo - 4: Typical outing for him, really
Vergne - 2: I'm getting the impression that he's the less talented of the pair. Not that they have much to begin with.

Maldonado - 3: Blown into the weeds by Senna - sort it out, man.
Senna - 9: Certainly seems to be coming good. It's about time.

Kovalainen - 7: Beat a Sauber.
Petrov - 5: Not much to say.

De La Rosa - 3: He mixed up his starting position? Who even does that!?
Karthikeyan - 3: How the hell did he damage his front wheel like that?

Glock - 3: Fairly certain he's just phoning it in now.
Pic - 7: 22 seconds behind Petrov - I don't think that's too bad.

Vettel: 6 - loses marks from me for whinging about not being able to pass Button
Webber: 5 - probably would have been 5th on a 2-stopper

Button: 7 - strategy error wasn't really his fault but thought he may have overrode it
Hamilton: 10 - can't see what he could have done better in all truth, probably wouldn't have won if his qually hadn't been so great which enabled him to save tyres.

Alonso: 9 - good points for the championship out of a bad situation
Massa: 7 - close to his teammate but sadly 3 cars between them

Schumacher: 1 - the less said the better
Rosberg: 5 - where was he?

Raikkonen: 8 - REALLY needs to qualify and start better then he'll be winning races
Grosjean: 8 - a combo of his qualifying and his teammate's race pace would make Lotus a winning combo

Di Resta: 5 - only saw him when Pastor hit him
Hulkenberg: 7 - outshone his teammate at least

Kobayashi: 3 - I know he retired at the end but he spent much of the race behind Caterham
Perez: 5 - better than his teammate anyway

Ricciardo: 4 - missed Q1
Vergne: 5 - anonymous

Maldonado: 3 - when was the last time he had a clean race? Spain I think!
Senna: 9 - didn't look out of place fighting Red Bulls, McLarens and Ferraris and the like, was impressed

Kovalainen: 5
Petrov: 5 - didn't really notice caterham in all truth

De La Rosa: 4 - went to the wrong grid slot
Karthikeyan: 3 - racking up laps in the Johnny Claes award

Glock: 3 - totally disintered after his spin I feel
Pic: 8 - the fact he was around a minute ahead of his teammate didn't go unnoticed by me.

Vettel - 8 - T'was very solid throughout
Webber - 5 - Hear that sound Mark? That's the sound of your championship hopes slowly being poured down the nearest drain.

Button - 6 - Whoever put him on that strategy is a complete muppet.
Hamilton - 10 - Didn't put a foot wrong throughout the weekend.

Alonso - 7 - A quiet afternoon.
Massa - 7 - A decent run for once.

Schumacher - 1 - Bad Luck Schumacher has returned everyone!
Rosberg - 8 - Hauling that crapbox Merc into the points was a great effort from him.

Raikkonen - 9 - Yet another great performance from the Iceman.
Grosjean - 8 - Shaded by Raikkonen a bit, but held off the Finger for a deserved podium.

Di Resta - 5 - Meh
Hulkenberg - 5 - Ditto

Kobayashi - 3 - Reverted back to Kazuki Nakajima mode as the Sauber sucked this afternoon. But how did he finish behind a Caterham?
Perez - 5 - Did nothing of note.

Ricciardo - 4 - Standard
Vergne - 3 - Ditto, minus a point for shoving Kamui off the road.

Maldonado - 1 - Another race, another collision, another penalty. Miles off the pace to boot as well.
Senna - 10 - Drove like a man fighting to save his career, and a nice chunk of points was his. Take note, Felipe.

Kovalainen - 6 - Managed to beat Kamui home.
Petrov - 4 - Bah

De La Rosa - 2 - Come on mate, how can you manage to go to the wrong grid slot?
Karthikeyan - 1 - Crashed at turn 4. Nuff said.

Glock - 4 - Standard procedures
Pic - 7 - Finished a minute up the road from his team mate.
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Murray Walker: There's a car coming into the pits now, they're so unreliable with all those electronics on board.
James Hunt: Actually, Murray, one of his wheels has just fallen off...

Vettel - 8 - Solid race, not bad at all
Webber - 5 - Writing that article about Webber's title chances. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

Button - 7 - Decent enough, strategist ruined his race though
Hamilton - 10 - Perfect weekend for him

Alonso - 7 - Quiet, but at least he extended his championship lead
Massa - 6 - Could have been better, but not terrible

Schumacher - 1 - Bad Luck Schumacher is back
Rosberg - 6 - The Merc was utter shite this weekend, done well to get a point

Raikkonen - 9 - Excellent drive, wanted him to win, but he's really in the championship fight now
Grosjean - 8 - Drove very well, but outdone by his more experienced teammate

Di Resta - 5 - Becoming very anonymous as of late, even with all the coverage he gets from Sky, and i'm assuming BBC still
Hulkenberg - 5 - Beat Di Resta, nothing else

Kobayashi - 3 - Finished behind a Caterham
Perez - 4 - Anonymous, early season Hulk anonymous

Ricciardo - 4 - Beat Vergne, despite being outqualified by him
Vergne - 4 - Who the hell cares? Seriously, does anyone care?

Maldonado - 2 - Embarrassed by Senna, did this guy seriously win a race?
Senna - 8 - Done very well today, deserves those points. Unrejectification this year perhaps?

Kovalainen - 6 - Beat Kobayashi, fair play
Petrov - 5 - Done nothing of note

De La Rosa - 3 - Wrong grid slot, he's going senile
Karthikeyan - 2 - How did he damage his suspension?

Glock - 3 - He can't be arsed anymore, such a shame because he's a wasted talent at the moment
Pic - 7 - Well ahead of Glock, he's proving to be very competent

Sebastian Vettel
Q: 8 | R: 8 | Average: 8 | F1R: 8
Fought for as long as he could, but he had no real response to Hamilton and the Lotuses.

Mark Webber
Q: 4 | R: 6 | Average: 5 | F1R: 5
Great start, but after that he did absolutely sod all.

Jenson Button
Q: 8 | R: 6 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Unfortunate.

Lewis Hamilton
Q: 10 | R: 9.5 | Average: 9.75->10 | F1R: 10
Welcome back to the championship fight, Lewis. Monstrous in qualifying, though the part with the blue flags made me laugh. Driver of the Weekend

Fernando Alonso
Q: 7 | R: 6 | Average: 6.5->7 | F1R: 7
Subpar performance. He was afraid that the F2012 wouldn't be strong enough here, and he was right.

Felipe Massa
Q: 7 | R: 3 | Average: 5 | F1R: 4
Had a bad start and seemed to, once again, lack pace compared to Fernando.

Michael Schumacher
Q: 3 | R: 1 | Average: 2 | F1R: 2
Madre mia...sure, not everything was his fault, but he messed up way too many times. Worst Driver

Nico Rosberg
Q: 6 | R: 6 | Average: 6 | F1R: 6
Remember what I said about the Mercedes not being a true race winning car?

Kimi Raikkonen
Q: 8 | R: 10 | Average: 9 | F1R: 10
Made an absolute mockery of Grosjean. Welcome back to the championship fight, Kimi.

Romain Grosjean
Q: 9 | R: 8 | Average: 8.5->9 | F1R: 8
Was decent early on, but Raikkonen is unforgiving.

Paul di Resta
Q: 7 | R: 6 | Average: 6.5->7 | F1R: 7
Other than the incident with Maldonado, he was invisible.

Nico Hulkenberg
Q: 8 | R: 6 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Not a whole lot to say about him either.

Kamui Kobayashi
Q: 6 | R: 3 | Average: 5 | F1R: 5
As inconsistent as ever.

Sergio Perez
Q: 6 | R: 4 | Average: 5 | F1R: 4
*snooze*

Daniel Ricciardo
Q: 5 | R: 6 | Average: 5.5->6 | F1R: 5
Bad qualifying, but he did make up ground.

Jean-Eric Vergne
Q: 7 | R: 5 | Average: 6 | F1R: 5
Beaten to the line once more.

Pastor Maldonado
Q: 8 | R: 2 | Average: 5 | F1R: 3
It's like he's playing Venezuelan Roulette. Zero pace compared to his teammate, and, once again, he's being way too aggressive.

Bruno Senna
Q: 8 | R: 8 | Average: 8 | F1R: 8
Button, Webber and Massa had no response to him. Not bad.

Heikki Kovalainen
Q: 6 | R: 6 | Average: 6 | F1R: 6
Invisible. Could have done better in qualifying.

Vitaly Petrov
Q: 5 | R: 5 | Average: 5 | F1R: 5
Beaten by his teammate.

Pedro de la Rosa
Q: 5 | R: 3 | Average: 4 | F1R: 4
Is there something about old guys and grid spots that escapes my mind? It wasn't just Schumacher, after all...

Narain Karthikeyan
Q: 4 | R: 2 | Average: 3 | F1R: 3
And Narain does it again.

Timo Glock
Q: 4 | R: 4 | Average: 4 | F1R: 4
One minute behind Pic? Maybe whatever kept him out of Valencia is still affecting him.

Charles Pic
Q: 6 | R: 8 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
One minute ahead of Glock? Stellar.

Vettel - 7 (Good drive, lost out on strategy)
Webber - 7 (Better drive, lost out worse on strategy)

Button - 7 (See Vettel)
Hamilton - 9 (Fastest all weekend)

Alonso - 7 (Damage limitation worked very well)
Massa - 6 (At least he scored)

Schumacher - 3 (Whoops!)
Rosberg - 5 (Who?)

Raikkonen - 9 (So close, and still so far)
Grosjean - 8 (Fine for most of it)

Di Resta - 6 (Zzz...)
Hulkenberg - 6 (See above)

Kobayashi - 5 (Anyone know why he parked it?)
Perez - 5 (Not even strategy saved him)

Ricciardo - 6 (Kept the Saubers behind for a while)
Vergne - 5 (Spent entire race behind Ricciardo. Now down 5-4 in races)

Maldonado - 4 (Anonymous and crash-happy. How does he manage that?)
Senna - 8 (Good work holding both Button and Webber behind)

Kovalainen - 5 (Zzz...)
Petrov - 5 (See above. Caterham are getting too boring...)

De la Rosa - 6 (Very nearly beat Glock)
Karthikeyan - 3 (There's a fence there Narain.)

Glock - 3 (Only just beat de la Rosa. More deserving drivers right now)
Pic - 6 (Admittedly Glock is making him look good, but he's doing just as well as D'Ambrosio did)

Vettel: 5 - For moaning again. Bath plugging baby.
Webber: 5 - It's... Slipping... Away...

Button: 5 - Surely the driver can overrule the team?!
Hamilton: 10 - Get in there!!

Alonso: 7 - Continues to pick up the points
Massa: 5 - 9th place is seen as improvement :(

Schumacher: 3 - wtf?!
Rosberg: 4 - Who?

Raikkonen: 8 - Outside title contender, great drive
Grosjean: 8 - Another podium for Eurobrun's favourite

Hulkenberg: 4 - who?
Di Resta: 5 - Saw him being attacked by Maldonado, so bonus point

Kobayashi: 5 - Retired at the end
Perez: 5 - The Sauber is not a car that can challenge for big points evey race.

Ricciardo: 3 - Go away, your shite
Vergne: 3 - Go away, your shite x2

Maldonado: 5 - Penalty very harsh, but slipped away
Senna: 8 - Delighted he scored a solid bunch o' points at last.

Kovalainen: 5 - Anonymous
Petrov: 5 - See above

De La Rosa: 6 - Was cheering him on at the end, but didn't have the legs to pass Glock
Karthikeyen: 5 - Suspension failure put him out, but a usual race from him

Glock: 4 - Oh give up!!
Pic: 6 - Destroyed Glock in race.
For explanation on recent inactivity, please read 2nd post on 2nd page of 'just nipping out' thread. Thank you.

Vettel: 7: Solid, but the whining needs to stop.
Webber: 4: 8th from 11th is okay at best but did absolutely nothing otherwise.

Button: 6: Beaten on merit by Senna.
Hamilton: 9: The only other cars that could potentially beat him were the Lotuses and while they were a threat Lewis responded accordingly. Good race for him.

Alonso: 7: Keeps his 1st in the championship, which is needed. Otherwise not a factor but he was solid.
Massa: 6: Not one of his best drives but at least got 9th.

Schumacher: 2: Turning the car off is near Sakon Yamamoto levels. Racking up a pit speed violation and ultimately retiring from 18th is just poor. That said I do feel sorry for the guy...
Rosberg: 4: Who?

Raikkonen: 8: Could have won the race had we not been at the Hungaroring; solid drive and a win from him is a matter of time.
Grosjean: 8: See above

Di Resta: 5: Points are needed badly now.
Hülkenberg: 6: He beat di Resta but he needs points as well.

Kobayashi: 2: Beaten by a Caterham and retired for reasons unknown. Most of what I have seen of him is him getting lapped; sorry to say but he needs to shape up.
Perez: 4: Showed some speed at times but it is clear the car needs development otherwise we're gonna see a repeat of last year.

Ricciardo: 6: Well at least he didn't crash.
Vergne: 5: Another finish outside the points. Where are Alguersuari and Buemi when you need them?

Maldonado: 3: As much as I like this driver he needs to change his driving styles very soon.
Senna: 8: Beat Button on merit; might be the slower of the two drivers but is much more consistent, which is what Williams needs.

Kovalainen: 5: Didn't see much of him but he held back some Saubers...
Petrov: 5: ...or was it this guy who held back the Saubers? Either way, decent drive I guess.

De La Rosa: 4: Hey, at least you didn't turn your car off at the start.
Karthikeyan: 3: While that crash was actually caused by steering failure that doesn't really excuse the slow pace.

Glock: 3: He's going through the motions. Sloppily too.
Pic: 7: Trying his hardest; honestly I hope he does get a better drive next year, though where is unknown.

Vettel - 8 - I guess this was the best he could do...
Webber - 6 - Stupid strategy, but a good start at least.

Button - 7 - Stupid strategy, stuck behind Senna, but at least he scored a 6th, which could have been a podium, if it wasn't for the strategy.
Hamilton - 10 - He needed this like a slice of bread. Great control over the weekend. Kept both Lotuses behind.

Alonso - 7 - Damage limitation mode on.
Massa - 5 - Average. Ferrari wasn't good here.

Schumacher - 1 - Seriously Michael, what the hell was that?
Rosberg - 3 - Wow, he scored a point.

Raikkonen - 9 - Legendary laps in the end of his second stint. KERS problems, yet the KERS helped him at that exit.
Grosjean - 8 - Had a few errors here and there, but he at least bounced back okay after that rejectful Hockenheim race.

Di Resta - 4 - Didn't get into Q3, plus anonymous.
Hülkenberg - 5 - Got into Q3, but still anonymous.

Kobayashi - 3 - Rejectful. Sauber wasn't good for our Ring.
Perez - 3 - Rejectful. Sauber just couldn't cut here.

Ricciardo - 2 - Who? Fall Guy.
Vergne - 2 - At least he got into Q2, but still: WHO?

Maldonado - 1 - That was a pretty bad race.
Senna - 7 - He brought home eight valuable points for Williams. Bruno at least did his job.

Kovalainen - 4 - He didn't finish 2 laps down.
Petrov - 3 - He did finish 2 laps down.

De La Rosa - 3 - We saw him pass that spinning Marussia, worth a point!
Karthikeyan - 2 - What a weird place to retire. Gave HRT some airtime though!

Glock - 1 - He finished 3 laps down.
Pic - 3 - He didn't finish 3 laps down.

Race rating: 3/10 - pretty bad, lacked overtakes on track, lacked rain. I knew it would be hard to overcome the epicness of 2006, but come on.

Vettel - 7 - Became a panicking crybaby midway through, and then strategy towards the end was nonsensical. Very few overtakes all race and then a duff gamble about tyres going off
Webber- 6 - Good start then faded

Button - 6- Bad strategy may have cost him a place or two but never looked remotely as quick as Lewis, and looked slower than both Lotuses and Vettel anyway
Hamilton - 10 - McLaren's pitcrew nearly messed it up again, but Lewis himself did nothing wrong all weekend

Alonso - 8 - The usual points accumulation drive, the man is the next Prost
Massa - 4 - Pootled around doing very little

Schumacher - 1 - Colossal write-off of a weekend
Rosberg - 4 - Did very little and looked way off the front pace

Raikkonen - 9 - A great drive helped by some supreme strategy
Grosjean - 8 - Looked a bit edgy at the wheel but he does have the pace and brought it home this weekend

Di Resta - 5 - Slow and outside the points
Hülkenberg- 5- Didn't look capable of challenging

Kobayashi - 4- Forgettable GP
Perez - 6 - Got involved in some nice scraps but didn't look very quick

Ricciardo -4- Racing on their own in no-mans land
Vergne - 4

Maldonado - 5 - I don't blame him for having a go, this is racing and it was a fair enough dive into the corner.
Senna - 7 - A decent GP for once

Kovalainen - 6 - Did nothing wrong and nothing stood out
Petrov - 5 - Looked disinterested

De La Rosa - 6- A solid enough drive
Karthikeyan - 5 - Problems for him

Glock - 4 - Spun the car, looked slower than Pc
Pic - 7 - Another respectable race for the guy

1 Sebastian Vettel - Set the fastest lap, but realistically wouldn't pass Grosjean. 7/10.
2 Mark Webber - Not as good as a couple races ago. 6/10.

3 Jenson Button - Had pace, but strategy let him down and he lost a lot of time behind Senna. 6/10.
4 Lewis Hamilton - Untouchable. 10/10.

5 Fernando Alonso - Did the best he could, Ferrari just didn't have the pace. 7/10.
6 Felipe Massa - Not bad, but not very good either. 6/10.

7 Michael Schumacher - A disastrous weekend for him. 1/10.
8 Nico Rosberg - Not much to say here, I think. 5/10.

9 Kimi Räikkönen - Very good charge for the win. Excellent drive. 10/10.
10 Romain Grosjean - Nice podium finish. Kimi was the better Lotus driver though. 9/10.

11 Paul di Resta - As expected. 5/10.
12 Nico Hulkenberg - Ditto. 5/10.

14 Kamui Kobayashi - Where did Sauber's pace go?! 4/10.
15 Sergio Perez - See Kobayashi. 4/10.

16 Daniel Ricciardo - Anonymous. 4/10.
17 Jean-Eric Vergne - See Ricciardo. 4/10.

18 Pastor Maldonado - He doesn't seem to learn, does he...? 3/10.
19 Bruno Senna - Solid drive. Gained places at the start, and defended his position against Webber very well. Deserved the points. 8/10.

20 Heikki Kovalainen - Good performance, all things considered. 6/10.
21 Vitaly Petrov - Average. 5/10.

22 Pedro de la Rosa - Decent performance in the HRT. 6/10.
23 Narain Karthikeyan - His usual self, even though the retirement was not his fault. 4/10.

24 Timo Glock - Poor showing. 3/10.
25 Charles Pic - Had a bit of a scrap with Petrov. Unlike Glock, was actually good, considering the car he's in. 7/10.

I'm sad for Hulk and F.I, because they were robbed by Race Control for Alonso's sake.
Fiarrari rides again, but they failed.
Go Home, Sauber.

I had a busy week and only just finished watching the race, can I add my scores?

Vettel - 7 - Extra stop did nothing except keep him 4th.
Webber - 4 - Was pretty annoymous most of the race.

Button - 6 - Extra stop probaby cost him a podium
Hamilton - 10 - Faultless race from strat to finish

Alonso - 7 - Was driving for damage limitation
Massa - 2 - 9th ios embarassing.

Schumacher - 1 - Had a race to forget.
Rosberg - 6 - Sneaked in for the final point.

Raikkonen - 9 - Drove fantastically well for a great 2nd place
Grosjean - 6 - although was 3rd did make a lot of mistakes and really lost a challenge for the win.

Di Resta - 4 - Never really saw him in the race but started 12th and finished 12th
Hülkenberg - 3 - Should have been racing for a point

Kobayashi - 4 - Not his best race.
Perez - 2 - Drove badly a lot of the race.

Ricciardo - 6 - Made places and was ahead of team mate
Vergne - 3 - Was pretty average

Maldonado - 3 - The race is not a dull one with Pasta around but drove like a rock ape.
Senna - 9 - Drove a solid race to be the highest placed Brazilian

Kovalainen - 7 - Best of the Reject teams and ahead of Kamui
Petrov - 5 - Did nothing special

De La Rosa - 4 - Was the lead HRT
Karthikeyan - 2 - Was Mr Last again

Glock - 3 - Will be hanging up his helmet at the end of the season
Pic - 7 - Had a good scrap with Petrov.
KOBAYASHI for Scuderia Ferrari in 2013!
Captain Hammer : Kamui Kobayashi is perhaps the only driver who would be experienced enough for Ferrari to consider
