No, I do not mean that Danica Patrick or Natacha Gachnang should be in F-1, but I quote Luca di Montezemolo:

Wow, has Luca actually found the reason for all troubles in F-1? I think all teams now should be responsible for hiring some top models for each season, including his! Maybe it will divert the public's attention when the races become a procession in the coming 2010 season. Good strategy!

Reading the article I don't think Luca wants to populate the grid with attractive models for promotional purposes (let's be honest he could get a modelling agency in Italy do that for him for about 0.1% of Ferrari's yearly budget), he seems to think that they should be allowed wander in of their own accord with the public. Because the public will consist of only attractive girls obviously...

The ambiance of modern F1 is indeed very serious. It's not a disaster, but still I don't know what harm could some more pit babes could do to the sport. This, and a more jovial ambiance, when drivers made jokes to other fellows from time to time.
