What if... Forti had survived

Either they managed to keep Diniz and use his money to develop the promising FG03, or the partnership with Shannon had actually worked. I think they may have done a Stewart and become a point scorer
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Murray Walker: There's a car coming into the pits now, they're so unreliable with all those electronics on board.
James Hunt: Actually, Murray, one of his wheels has just fallen off...

I reckon Simtek were more likely to have scored points if only they had completed the 1995 season. The Adelaide GP '95 saw Pedro Lamy in a Minardi 6th, Diniz in the Forti 7th and Gachot in the Pacific 8th (3, 4 and 5 laps down) and that year, Simtek were getting more and more competitive and that was a crazy GP so...

Simtek were a lot more competitive in 1995, with luck, they could have escaped reject status but unfortunately, we all know they had about as much luck as Nick Heidfeld has had at winning races. Simtek could have finished ahead of Pacific, Forti, Minardi, Footwork and Tyrrell.

Forti could have had a competitive 1996, and at least finish ahead of Minardi depending on the driver. Maybe not Fisichella but definitely Lavaggi.

Don't want to be hard, but I could also start a team and get more and more competitive by running into huge amounts of debt.
Go home, Bernie Ecclestone!

"Adrian, stay off the kerbs during the run, stay off the kerbs."
"So, no KERS?"
"No kerbs, KERBS, as in the side of the circuit."
