Quite a tight battle between 2nd drivers of McLaren and Ferrari. DNF in final race for Coulthard would have given title to Irvine. One driver failed to score.

Mazzacane has done enough in this alternate reality to unrejectify himself!

And Tarso Marques as well.
In fact Marques outscored Alonso 4-1!

I always thought that Alonso was nothing special in his season with Minardi.

It was close fight between Button and Trulli until France. At that point, Button had 76 and Trulli 72 points. In the remaining Renault races, Trulli scored eight points, then went to score seven for Toyota in the last two. The big news however is that HWNSNBM gets unrejectified with his 4th place at Indianapolis. He also had one sixth and one seventh.
