Think of it as an oppertunity for the F1RWRS to have a proper off-season to sort the drivers out :P

I fancy being the Pedro Diniz of the series. I'd like the second Arrows seat, as Damon Cannon.
The 1990s were better. Fact. And you bloody well know it.

Sammy Jones at this point is rather occupied with F3 at this point in time, so in his place, welcome Mitch Herrtz to the 1997 grid.

With a German father and English mother, born in Munich and raised in Skelmersdale, the Lancashire accent was an unavoidable by-product of his upbringing. Nevertheless Herrtz has impressed in the lower formulae and Ken Tyrrell has rewarded this success with a drive in the first seat of his Tyrrell team.

Despite his German father, Mitch races with an English licence, determined to bring F1CC glory to the UK.

So err yeah number 18 at Tyrrell please for Mitch Herrtz :)

Mild Seven Benetton-Renault Pre-Season press release
We're happy to announce our two drivers for the 1997 season in the F1CC. Our #7 car will be driven by Hagane Shizuka with a Japanese license from Hungary, and the #8 car will be driven by James Chapman. We'd like to wish them the best with our team.
The team does not have a disputed #1 driver. We're trying to give both of them the best equipment and opportunity throughout the season.

Miguel Zapatero has just been announced as Ferrari driver. He will use #5.

BTW, if you let a car parked by the side of the track in F1C, the other guys will slow down as they go past that zone (yellow flags). It's not that bad until you find out that they slow down and accelerate again at different places and conditions: sometimes they'll go flat out, other times they'll slow and will be overtaken by people not slowing down...

The easy solution is trying to park around a corner. There's a better solution that will avoid yellow flags being displayed, but it requires a bit of tampering with the .PLR files so that you can stall the car at will. (If you stall while you are in the pitlane, yellow flags are not displayed and the other cars keep running at normal speeds all the time).

I'm a geek of simulating races and championships in F1 games, and F1 Challenge is my favourite one, you know...
Go home, Bernie Ecclestone!

"Adrian, stay off the kerbs during the run, stay off the kerbs."

I actually meant speeding ahead then turning into the pitlane and entering one of the garages. As far as I know, there probably wont be many crashes, it being F1C AI. However, I'll tweak the PLR files a bit. I'm a modder myself you know, I'm working on 1993 now.

Anyway, updated the sign up list

I decided not to make the RCD files identical, but they are nearly the same, so it depends on your luck if you got that near advantage. I'll change the files every race.
