And I remember this being commented on in another alternative championship, but Tim Schenken (whoever he is) wins a race here too. It was the first elimination one I think, when I read his name I thought "who?"!

Is he the early 70s equivalent of someone like, say, Pedro De Rosa, since I thought it was mad that De La Rosa won a race in 2001 in the Jaguar on "Backwards Elimination"?!
