He already has a drive for F3.5. If he performs, GP2 could be next. And then F1.

Hello me hearties! I'm not a new member as such - I'm Gary Slevin and I wrote the odd article for Centrale in the past as well as sending stuff in for the show!

(Incidently, I am still disappointed that Enoch and Jamie didn't use the Canberra Milk Kid thing. The possibilities were endless...)

Hi, my name is Imu. I am a Super Aguri fan from America. Thus, the name superimu. It was supposed to have been TeamSuperImu but I joined in the middle of the night a forgot the Team part. I've been lurking for a while. I had the 5th place team in the fantasy racers league (despite alternating between ignoring and making poor derisions). Its my birthday today and as my gift to the world is me bestowing my ill informed views based on a quick skim of wikipedia to you all.

I became a racing fan after going to 84 Indy 500 with my dad. I was hooked and went back a bunch of time in the 80's and 90's. I grew up a Ferrari fan but my rooting interests change with the wind. Now, I'm a Williams fan. Team Lotus stole my heart last year and how any anyone not root for the shrine of over-aggression that is Kamui Kobayashi. Can't wait for a great year of F1

Hello... checking in! Formula 1 fan in England, watched since 1989 when I was a nipper and had to be woken up in the middle of the night to watch it with Dad.Favourite reject team Minardi....or Andrea Moda for sheer comedy value.Favourite driver probably Johnny Herbert.Still watching Formula 1 20 years even though it's become Tilke-ized and sanitized over the years.I can remember when there were 30 or 40 cars competing for a spot in the race, and they did odd things like starting the race round a bend or having the start finish line halfway round the track or have teams turn up for just one or two races a year.Ah those were the days....*rambles off into incoherent wallowing in nostalgia*...
Some people are looking for the meaning of life.Me,I'll be satisfied with a cute girl who can tell her Andrea Moda from her AGS...

Hello! I'm Cameron, currently living in Ontario, Canada.

I must admit, I've been reading f1rejects since well, years ago. I've also been lurking your forum for over a year. That's right, anonymously creeping your posts, agreeing/disagreeing with your crazy opinions in my head. Many times I thought to myself, "Cameron, perhaps you should register and partake in such fulfilling dialectics as offered on this forum you so frequently read". Perhaps I ought to have, perhaps I've made a big mistake. Quite frankly I never thought I'd join this forum, but merely flaneur its content in the safety and anonymity of my unregistered state for years, maybe decades after my first discovery. Consider my actions as not dissimilar to a 16 year old sneaking out of his parents' house to enjoy the early stages of habitual marijuana usage.
But I've surrendered tonight; you've broken me in, you bastards. "Here I is", I may dictate, bidding farewell to grammar sense and decency, I've removed my robe and have revealed why a man should remain covered on a chilly day. I've joined the forum, become a member and now I must partake in the arousing debates so generously cultivated by this forum's nature and members.
I hope to enjoy discussing F1 alongside you all to the degree I've enjoyed peeping in from a rust-spot in the Armco, a reminder of why we all hate metaphors. I look forward to membership in this cult, but I must inquire, on which date does the mass suicide take place?-I'd like to ensure it works well with my busy calendar.

happy happy endings everyone! (skip the massage, let's cut to the chase shall we?)

Mass suicide? There is no mass suicide. See, this is a different cult. We "mass suicide" our cars like a proper motorsport enthusiasts. At the end of each season, we crash our cars in the most rejectful way and then post pictures... This year I decided to go a little earlier and already did my part. I went to drive in some mountains only for a snow storm to fall. I drove slowly, sliding my way down the mountain, until I found a bus in front of me. Then, while braking and even more slowly (about 30kph), I slid into the back of the bus. The car, in the end, looked more or less like this:

Try to beat that!

I thought we were going to mass suicide when Schumacher wrapped up his 8th title after Barrichello fluffed up his tyre choice and was passed by Schuey at the last lap of the Brazilian GP.

It is an Opel Astra. Back in Portugal we use the original name.

Vauxhall is an original name. For the right-handed version. We have hardly ever had Opels here. And Vauxhall as a company is older than Opel - although Opel have been making cars for 3 years longer.

Welcome to these hallowed boards, Cameron.

By the way, the mass suicide is on November 27th, day of the Brazilian GP, after yet another incredibly boring season.

It won't happen, though - given the strong Anglo-Australian flavour of the forum, what would probably happen is everybody would simply go "To hell with it, it's raining", and go down the pub instead.

Vauxhall could be a good brand if HRT want to get their Cossies branded - a car manufacturer with a market of... 1 country! Which isn't even the country in which the team is based!
