PRECISION COMPLETE DEAL WITH CANNON
Precision Motorsports have officially announced that Damon Cannon will take part in its debut season next season as its second driver. With this appointment, the German team’s line-up is complete for the upcoming season with the British driver joining Jeroen Krautmeir behind the wheel of the PRM01.
Wilhelm Krautmeir had this to say. "Damon (Cannon) is a very professional driver who will bring a lot of benefits to the organization. I am convinced that his development skills are up to par, and I'm pretty certain his raw pace is up there. I'm very happy that we'll be working together next year, and on behalf of Dailymotion Precision Porsche, I would like to give a very warm welcome."
There has been some speculation as to whether young Frenchman, Philippe Nicolas, who is backed by the team's title sponsor, Dailymotion, will be signed as test driver. Krautmeir revealed that they were still in talks with him. "Yes, we're still talking to Philippe, but that is all I can reveal at the present moment." Rumours speculate that if Nicolas is signed as test driver, an extra 2.5 Million Euros will flow into Precision's coffers, something the team desperately need.
